I really don't understand how you could be undecided. I mean, I can't imagine never being attracted to someone in your life.

I can, particularly if you're still at school. They can be talentless places, some schools.
Also, undecided can mean that you may not be absolutely certain where your attraction lies. In other words, I, as a girl, may have felt attracted to both sexes, but not having had experience with one or both, been unsure of where my orientation will lie. It is not necessarily as obvious as it might seem.
