UESP Forums

First memory: Kestral came up with an idea for a site called UESP Remembers. Unfortunately, this site went down and he didn't really want to fix it. Fair cop, it was his site and all, and he can do whatever he darn well pleases. However, an awful lot of members thought this was a good idea, and an awful lot of PMs were sent asking for a solution.

Ladies, Gentlemen and Cactus, I present to you: UESP Remembers, v2!

The way it works is that it's a stickied, locked thread (this one!) where memories are posted by me. PM me memories, and after a short approval process (basically involving me spell-checking them), they'll be posted here. If you wish to remain anonymous, that's fine, but please specify in the PM. Write them in third person regardless.

Example memory:
The Great Avatar Swap, submitted by Dogmantra
Cactus and Dogmantra had Another Awesome Idea™ where they swapped avatars and signatures for fun. This persisted for about a week, during which Varmor [ed. note: Vargon] swapped their names too. Eventually, they swapped back, causing even more confusion. It was good times.

Oh Snap via Rohugh, submitted by Dragour
Second post, first line

Maxx Crowley Hates Imperials, submitted by m@nyt1mes.

RIP Super Flex, submitted by m@nyt1mes.
(Doggy's note: I think that this one does really show some of the good of the UESP forums, possibly better than anything else)

This was inevitable.

Dogmantra has officially left the forums. A sad day for UESP .
I know that I'm late, I kinda forgot about this thread. Anyway, I'd like to say that Dogmantra was a great moderator and an example to all. It was Dogmantra who brought humour to this forum with his pink coins, the Tea Party Mods and all his jokes. We'll never give up hope that he returns but for now, we have to miss an excellent UESP member. Thanks Doggie, for everything .

Friday, 27 August 2010.

Codex and Caz are asked to step down as moderators. Both do so, and leave the forums.

Josjie leaves the forums, with a quote:

It's official, my last post on UESP:

"Rise and shine, Mr. Freeman. Rise and shine. Not that I wish to imply you have been sleeping on the job. No-one is more deserving of a rest. And all the effort in the world would have gone to waste until... well, let's just say your hour has come again. The right man in the wrong place can make all the difference in the world. So, wake up, Mr. Freeman. Wake up and smell the ashes."

I can't beleive i did'nt do this before
