i'm stuck in a quest its called The Assasinated Man i killed the man in his house and it would be in the chapel ( undercoft ) but the door is locked so i can't get in the undercoft what dit i wrong ?

Chapel undercrofts are normally locked in my experience, you just have to pick the lock......

Well then have you tried pickpocketing the various chapel residents?
Just chk'd in my game and the first one I came across (Orag gra-Bargol) had a chapel undercroft key just begging to be nicked......

I just tried it in my game and it does the same thing. Seems to suggest that you can only get there for this partics quest.
Don't know how spoiler adverse you are, but have you chk'd the Wiki for this quest:

Seems that there are a few things that you have to do in partics order. Have you done everything as it says?
Is it def a full 24hrs later?
Have you got this quest as your active quest? If so, is arrow pointing to the chapel undercroft?
If you have done all of the above, it sounds like a definite bug. Might be worth trying "wait" a few times to see if it becomes openable at some point, but otherwise you may need to reload to a save prior to starting the quest. How long ago was your previous save?

i got it i have to wait 24 hour then it was open

I am pretty sure that it instructs you to wait a day before he's taken there. Maybe you should not rush through those message screens?
