Favorite mech game?

I recently rediscovered one of my favorite videogames from my early teens: Phantom Crash. Seriously an awesome, addicting game. I'm also a fan of the Mechassault games, although I've always thought they were a little dry.
Does anyone else have a favorite mech game they want to recommend?

Mechassault I love, I have 1 and 2 and am curious as to if we will ever see 3. I have played Mechwarrior, but that was a LONG time ago. I think I played 1,2 and 3 of it, but don't remember how they were (Good I'm sure).

I much prefer Armored Core, especially the second one.

Does lost planet count? If so, that game.
