Aside from any opinions on the man, he did make a lot of music. So in celebration of Michael the musician and artist, what was your favourite song (or songs) by Michael?

To get the ball rolling (not that it'll need help):

I like most of Michael's music but the one in my head now is:
Speed Demon

and i also liked:
Earth Song

If for no other reason than the epic music video, I have to go with Thriller.

There's a lot of good songs, but, yeah, I'll go with Thriller.

Oh yes, i grew up in the late 80s and up.

I remember Beat it, with the eddie van halen guitar solo. Thriller was the best. Dancing in that video is an interesting flash from the past.

EDIT: Oh yes! And billie jean, i actually heard that song the other day.

Thriller of course

Thriller his best song ever!

and that should be a /thread

though i remember him for Heal the World, Dangerous, Black or White...

and Beat It. We ALL know the lyrics

Probly Thriller, or the other one I forgot, but It ws one of my fav songs.

Does this include his Jackson 5 days? I can't choose either way. Beat it, thriller are among my faveoirotes

Beat It. For sure.

Smooth criminal. I like Thriller, but at school dances when they play it, NO ONE knows the actual dance except for me, and I barley know it. It just bothers me.

Agreed.

Fallout Boy covered it pretty well too.

I'm personally a fan of "Love, Take Me Down To The Streets".
No...wait...that's by Wings.

My bad...Billie Jean, I suppose...
That or the Smooth Criminal (its music video is as good or better as Thriller in its own right).

I really love Smooth Criminal. But I do like the ALien Ant Farm remix more anyway

ooh yes, i like that remix too.

i also like michael's singing when he was in jackson 5. i used to sing a lot when i was yonger and can really appreciate just what a gift he had to be able to do half the stuff he did.

Word, totally agree! (But Beat it is catchy too)
