Ok, I bought the horse armour and wizards tower over the xbl marketplace. THEY WON'T DOWNLOAD!!!

i payed using my ms points, and when i pressed download/redownload, it comes up with an error message and won't download.

I went on the xbox website, and noone was helpful on there, so i went on bethesda's site and submitted a query, and all i got was an email saying: 'Do you need help with Fallout 3?'

I seriously need help as basically they are stealing my money...

I haven't had problems downloading stuff on xblive although sometimes dlc disappears off my 360 and i have to reload it.

Make sure that the points have gone off your account and that you have no active downloads and that there's nothing strange about your account profile(sometimes xb live gets funny ideas about people's payment method and you have to give it a new credit card number or put in more points)

When you have all the facts you should go through a frustrating and tedious process of contacting xbox live customer care via email and phone. I would also keep trying Bethesda, but if this is an xbox account problem then it's microsoft's responsibility. I reckon microsoft should be able to help anyway cos they are the 'shopkeepers' so are ultimately responsible for products they sell in their marketplace

hopefully it's just a temporary problem so keep trying to download (if the points have gone off your balance then xbox live has logged the transaction so you can download the extras as soon as the error is fixed if its a problem with Bethesda), maybe you should google the error message to see if anyone else has seen this.

I've had this problem today too... I have been unable to redownload the following after deleting them from my hard drive;

The wizards tower
The orrery
The fighters stronghold
& Horse armour


However, I was able to redownload the vile lair, mehrunes razor and the thieves den without any problems. I'm not sure if this problem also extends to the other three DLC, as the spell tomes were never deleted from my console & I have the other two on disk as part of the GOTY edition.

What does the error say?

I've had this problem several times and you can either post on the xbox live marketplace forums asking them to fix it, or you can sign in to the xbox live website and search for the DLC there and download it there. It will still be free to redownload, and has worked for me every time though it's less convenient.

It's the 'error code 80070570' message, which means that the content is corrupted. Also, I attempted to download via xboxlive website, this also failed to download.

Sorry if it didn't work for you. There should still be a topic on the marketplace forum with that error code specifically to deal with this problem.
