I need patching help

Ok i finally got oblivion on the pc
but i can't get patch Version 1.2.0416 to work and says old file not found and on here it says that is you get shivering isles from direct 2 download which i did it won't work. How can i fix this problem thx

You cannot use the Normal Patch for D2D versions:

thx the wiki on here told me about the direct2download problem but not a solution

ok problem i download it but when i run it it still says "Old file not found, but a file of the same namewas found"
