irc chat problem PLEASE HELP ME!

I have read
your irc chat page and followed the instructions to a "T" & still it will NOT allow me to connect! Please tell me what is going on? Is it broken? Is it always like this?? Did you close down the chatroom & we just do not know? Please tell me. Thanks.

The chatroom isn't actually handled/managed by anyone on this site. We have a link to it because it's an Elder Scrolls related link.
But I just tried connecting and it's working fine for me.

Then why does mine
ALWAYS say,
Unable to connect : java.net.UnknownHostException : irc.chatspike.net
?????

I just spoke to Ratwar in the chatroom and he said they're trying to help you out. Check your Wiki:Talk page, someone should be responding to your request for help.
