Where to live?

Okay, so... I just made a new character who I wll actually role play. Where should I live? He's going to be a woodsmen, so it needs to be out away from everybody- no cities or anything. I've been looking around but I haven't found much yet. I'm really looking for like a shack kind of thing to use. Any ideas?
Remember, alone and shack-y.

You could use
Shetcombe Farm. It's an uninhabited farmhouse northeast of Kvatch.

If you're looking for something more "shack-y" than a farmhouse, you could try
Roland Jenseric's Cabin. It's only inhabited during the quest
The Order of the Virtuous Blood.

Thanks guys! I checked out the farmhouse, it's not bad... I'll check out the other house, too.

There's a ton of generic camps scattered across the map. How do caves grab you? Oh there's a farmhouse that gets cleaned during the DB quests. But you would have a mutilated body to clean out.

Yes, but bandits respawn there every 3 days. The OP was talking about somewhere to live permanently.

Not all campsites have enemies in them though.
Atrene Camp, for example, is empty. Another empty camp is
Bogwater. The only time it's inhabited is during the quest
The Renegade Shadowscale. You could also use
Fisherman's Rock after you've done the quest
Mazoga the Orc, because the enemies there don't respawn.

You can live in
Aerin's Camp, if you don't mind having a
roommate.

The
Isolated House isn't a very good place to use as a home, because there's bandits in it that respawn evey three days, it doesn't have a map marker so it may be hard to find and you can't fast travel there, and it can be destroyed by an Oblivion Gate during the main quest. If it is destroyed by an Oblivion gate, then all items you have stored in the house will also be destroyed.

do most of these places respawn... coz viewing this thread has made me think about rethinking about my 'home' and i tend to have alot of things stored at my house.. so respawn info would be helpful.

As long as they aren't stored in a chest, they shouldn't get respawned over. If you just leave them on the ground they should be fine.
