Anyone Play This on the 360?

Does anyone do it?

I play it on the 360, sometimes I regret because I need batteries for my controller, which I am short on. Also that Morrowind will crash randomly since it's on the 360.

Note: The Xbox is backwards-compatible with Morrowind.

I play on PC.

Have you evert thought of using rechargable batteries? Sure they might cost more at start, but they might actually be cheaper on the long run. Well to think of it they are not expencive at all considering you can recharge them.

I'm on 360. My controllers have rechargeable batteries and a charger that plugs into the console if I so wish. If it's fully charged and I plug it in, it just runs like a normal corded controller.

I've got the GotY version, and, unfortunately, it doesn't work on the 360 yet. Not sure if it ever will considering it has the Tribunal and Bloodmoon expansions. It's just a guess, but I think they'd cause problems for backwards compatibility.

At the moment it's rather annoying because I have to unplug my PS3 inputs whenever I want to play Morrowind. The TV only has two inputs and the 360 is taking up the rear with the PS3 and Xbox sharing the front side.

I play Morrowind GOTY on my XBox 360, no problems. Well, the regular Morrowind and GOTY Morrowind save files aren't compatible, but otherwise none. The box says they are, but all liez.

Really? How long have you been doing that? Because last I tried it the system said it was incompatible.

Months? Until my 360 died last week. I didn't even have it hooked up online, it played straight away with no update. I had regular Morrowind in first which did get updated online, so maybe it used the same update. I was just annoyed because I was nearly done with the MQ and I had to start over because the saves didn't work. >.<

There's a patch for it.

When I first played my GotY on my 360 I was prompted to download the new patch for it.

I did.

So now, it's compatible with 360, on mine.

Wow, when I get my replacement 360 from MS I guess I'll get the new console update.

Sorry for hijacking the thread there, Kestral. It wasn't my intention.

PC. My first experience of TES was playing Oblivion on PS3, but seeing as I couldn't get MW for Playstation, I didn't have much choice.

It was weird getting used to playing with a keyboard/mouse instead of a control pad, but I've got the hang of it now. I'm looking forward to being able to download mods (I used to get serious mod envy playing Ob and reading about stuff like the Vile Lair).

Playing on Xbox i enjoy, but the controls feel clunky, and i love my construction set :D so, i prefer pc, but morrowind is a deadly game no matter how you play.

but i don't have acess to xbox live, so now backwards compatability updates for me...

I never was good at installing things....

I find that the original the xbox seems to hold the most fun for Morrowind.

I play it on my good ol' PC.
Not that i play it that much anymore :(

I retired my character, and then lost the hang of it.
I want that 'hang of it' again!

I play it on my 360. Get the play and recharge kit for your controller it is the best way to use wireless.

GOTY version works fine, updates cure the gripes it has. It has only crashed once, when I was fighting one of Almalexia's guards, so every time he hit me there were loads of magical effects firing off (but the xbox version tends to crash here too)

LOL. There are only a few in Morrowind so treasure every moment with them.

I play on both the 360 and PC. I just like playing the Xbox version since it is unchanged by mods and plug-ins. It's just raw entertainment.

But I do like playing my modded Morrowind too.

Connect to Xbox Live, and download the patch.
You only need a Silver membership - which is free - to download something.

No problem.
Just know that Morrowind can get buggy on the 360.
