display cases

I'm trying to put some weapons in the display cases (in the Skingrad house, Rosethorn Hall) and I don't know how. I tried to drop a sword from my inventory, hoping that it would magically fit in the opened case, but it didn't work. What's the trick ???

Drop the item and then use the "grab" feature and place it however/wherever you want it
On the 360 it's the LB button....

...and on the PC it is 'Z'. Where you grab the item will affect how it is picked up. The physics work quite realistically. Keep that in mind.

Telekinesis works as well.

Man, telekinesis works for moving all kinds of stuff.
