Bulbasaur for life

Lets see, what else would beat it. My Kyogre would 1 hit it with ice beam, my Dialga would 1 hit it with flamethrower, my Serperior would be able to outlast it easily, my Zekrom would 1 hit it with Fly, my Metagross would 1 hit it with Zen Headbutt  and I won't even bring my level 95 team from platinum into this. in fact, most of the level 60 and ups in my box would beat it

Sorry, an unevolved grass/poison type is not very good
you sound like gary, oak taught me to love my pokemon 8)
Gary has lost a battle. I have never lost 8) and i don't know what love in a video game is, but all mine like me, and I still use my starter Serperior over the Mewtwo I have in my box cause I like it more, and I use Metagross because i like it. The legendaries I use are lugia, zekrom, kyogre, and dialga because I like them

I use the ones i like, and the ones I like just happen to be really strong. But hat I tend to draw the line at the first evolution of one, they have to be able to win a battle :P

Exactly. :P Still though even against the CPU you have to have it a high enough level.

Hey, Sonixboom, still waiting for you to trade me Deoxys and Arceus :?

Even my Swampert and its massive type disadvantage would be able to one-shot your Bulbasaur with Ice Punch.

Also, Metagross owns. Except on B/W, where you have to either catch one wild (that's about as easy as a legendary such as Mewtwo) or you have to transfer it from D/P/Pt/HG/SS, which requires the use of another DS.

I was originally going to have a team of Lugia, Mewtwo, Dialga, Zekrom, Serperior, and Kyogre, then I was exploring Giant Chasm and ran into a wild level 57 Metang in the really tall grass, didn't even know you can find those in the wild. Safe to say my eyes went wide at finding a metang in the wild, and to boot I had a rare candy unused, so I took out my Cressilia (I use it to whittle HP down, has a lot of Defense and Special defense and not much attack, has thunder wave too) so I caught Metang, used the candy, and boom instant Metagross. So I ditched Mewtwo :D Always wanted a Metagross but didn't want to bother training the lower evolutions.

How long did it take to catch the Metang?

I used Ultra and Dusk Balls (was at night) I whittled it down to red and paralyzed it with Cressilia, then it took about 6 balls to catch it. So honestly it wasn't that hard, now that could just be because it is a low evolutionary form. I have a feeling a Metagross would be much harder, if you even had the patience to find it. You really don't need to catch a fully evolved on in Black and Whit anyways since you find the metang near the evolution level. Btw which verison do you have? If you have black, any way I could convince you to trade me your Reshiram? :D

Yes, I have Black. And I'll only trade my level 50-something Reshiram if I get your Zekrom. Can you trade this weekend?

Also, you're really lucky. I used at least 50 ultra and dusk balls at 1 HP (I used false swipe), and the Metang broke out of all of them. That is beyond ridiculous. Of course, I'm sure heavy balls would be much more effective if you could actually get them on this game.

I wanted both of them to pair their abilities together, plus my zekrom is at 70 sure there is NOTHING else I can give you? I have nearly 400 kinds on platinum.... :)

You have over 400 species on Platinum? On that game, the national dex only goes up to 493. And that's including the event legendaries that you have inevitably missed.

You could probably tell by its level that I didn't use Reshiram much outside of the final battle with N, and actually, I really don't use legendaries that much in general. Besides, my Chandelure is already more powerful.

Being able to get a Swampert (or a Metagross, or a Salamence) on Black would be nice. However, I don't know why, but I can only train Pokémon that I caught or bred myself. Again, I don't know why, but that's just how it is. Sure, we could do some complicated system where I breed one of each on SS, trade them to you, have you transfer them to White, then have you trade them back to me, but unless you can help me transfer Pokémon between generations, and you're willing to sit through that much just to get an underleveled legendary, then I don't think that's likely to happen.

In other news, you'd think that a psychic robot would be easier to catch than the lords of time and space, but Dialga and Palkia both have catch rates of 45 (that's pretty average), while Metagross's whole line has a catch rate of 3, the standard for most legendaries.

True. and my whole team is hovering near level 76. That would be a pain to train him from the 50s.

Phew. I've finally made it through Victory Road and beaten three of the Elite Four in Pokemon Black. Now I just have to take down the Fighting Type guy, which is going to be difficult, as none of my Pokemon have any type advantages, except for my Unfezant, whose level is nowhere near high enough to take on the Elite Four. Heh. Whoops. That's what I get for being overexcited about finishing the game. I always forget to train one or two of my Pokemon. Oh, well...too late now. I might be able to beat the Fighting Type guy with Smugleaf. He's around level 53, and I think I could win by spamming Giga Drain to keep his HP up. Then again, I'm not sure how much damage Giga Drain will do.
Erm, anyways, I'm done ranting now.
By the way, would anyone mind if I were to join the PokeSquad as the Fuzzy Torchic?

Anyone think I should use Latios to try and get farther? :D
Also I found out my Starmie has 0 Speed IV so I'm going to have to scrap that for a new one.
