The fire ships were making quick work of the galleons. After a few minutes, ten of them were a smouldering wreck. The fire ships, being small and speedy, had only lost five of their number.

The archers killed another 100 soldiers before they landed. The soldiers were expecting them and attacked. They were approaching from the sides too.

In case you haven't realized by now, this is a last stand sort of thing.

"By Allah!" cried the commander. "Today, we fight with honor!"

The warriors drew their curved swords and charged at the enemy.

The charge was folly. They had lost about 500 men before they landed and were severely outnumbered. The sand was wet and slippery. Many soldiers fell and got bogged down.

Should I ride out my heavy/Cavalry? nah my archers will be good enough.

The smiling rats archers continued to rain arrows upon Azeems forces.

"Die with honor!"

As the charge failed, the soldiers still standing managed to form a wall with their round buckler shields, giving their compatriots a chance to recover their footing.

"Hold!"

The enemy infantry backed off. Arrows torrented down on Azeem's forces. About 1000 lay dead compared to Aidan's five hundred infantry.

the naval commander in charge of the 10 galleons sighed "to day we limit their speed!" he yelled as the ships went onto a kamikaze course with Zinedine's ships planning to sink them both.

or 15 fireships

And my ships were attacking yours. You have to defeat them first.

Azeem's five remaining galleons continued to fire on the Smiling Rat's retreating ships. Meanwhile, the men on land began to assemble into the tortoise formation.

Thirty of Aidan's warships began to attack Zinedine's ships.

1000 archers suddenly appeared from the forest and began hailing arrows at Azeem's men.

''Tacking into the wind now!'' a naval officer shouted.

In S shaped route, Zinedine's fleet rode with the wind, getting faster into Aidan's area with the fleet using the fire ships to spread a wide range of fire into the enemy.

The galleons shot in a straight line in enemy area.

Far removed from the battle, Azeem ordered his warships to return home.

Suddenly, Aidan's 600 horsemen galloped down the beach at full speed. They smashed into the tortoise formation. Many of them fell off their steeds but the plan had worked. Azeem's forces had been split, the horses wedged in the middle. The infantry closed in.

Aidan's 60 warships were slow and were quickly damaged by the fireships. They pummelled the galleons though.

The smiling rat heavy troops went in, they went to trap and hold Azeem's troops in one place

Wow, I never would have attacked if I'd known there were this many troops. I'm getting slaughtered.

"Surrender!" cried the commander. "We yield!"

The soldiers went in and disarmed Azeem's forces. The archers stopped firing. "Where is Azeem?" Asked the Commander, his sword pointing at his enemy's throat.

The commander smiled at his conqueror, and stabbed himself in the heart with his dagger.

The Commander spat on his body and went over to another soldier, asking the same question.

''V formation!'' As the leading officer rose the blue flag.

The fire ships as fast as they were made a V shaped line.
The galleons retreated behind the fireships waiting for the signal to assault with heavy fire.

5 of the fireships filled with combustibles went in a group towards the enemy.
Setting themselves on fire they proceeded to sail in them.

The commander of the smiling rat's forces, a mounted Archer approached another man and dis armmed him, "where is Azeem.." he asked softly and harshly.
The galleons moved to intercept them, taking the main force of the fire. the naval commander jumped onto a burning ship and started to attack.
