Cacti drive by?

Or did you give them a giant wooden cactus and then jump out of it when said family slept at night?

I'm going through a rough time with what's-his-name my pseudo-boyfriend. He's been really nice to me through all this crap that's been happening. Yesterday I was talking to one of my friends about him and *I told him that it's going to be INCREDIBLY hard to let him go when we graduate HS, and I also told him that all I wanted was for him to be happy*. My friend responded with "maybe letting go will make him happy". That's never occurred to me before. So I told what's-his-name this: (See text in between these>*) today and he came back with "I'll think about it". Which means that there is a possibility that I might actually have to let go of him and 2 years sooner than I expected. If you can understand why I'm not gonna be social for potentially the rest of my life....

I might just leave the forum if he says that he does want me to. Nothing directly related, but I might just leave my body, as well. The most I can promise you is that if he should say yes, I won't be doing much talking anymore here and in rl. I also probably won't feel happiness for a very long time...

Anyway, that was an update on my life, and a preemptive explanation for why I could be leaving the forums here in the next week, or so.

who knows, wolf, it may just be the forums that can keep you on your feet...

tough story though.
but you could look at it this way: two years is a long time, so don't worry about the future yet and you should enjoy things while they last. that's what i'm doing.
(who knows, in that time maybe sth else will come between you anyway...)

That's the problem, DL just made this known to me but I didn't completely explain myself. If he tells me to let go then that means that we stop talking the minute he says that to me. Which means that I get what was coming to me eventually to smack me upside the head in the next week. I knew it was gonna be hard after graduation and I had planned to set aside at least a month for crying my heart out, but I just may have to now.

Thanks guys, you are really helping me a lot. I don't really know what to say, but I know what I want to say, and that is that I love this close community on the forums, and I wouldn't change having you guys as friends for the world. I don't exactly understand why, but everyone on here seems to be able to comprehend others' pain. Everyone here is compassionate, understanding, and supportive. Maybe, it's just the type that are drawn to the forums in the first place, but I'm very glad that you all are here. If you ever need anything that I could provide (I have had a lot of people tell me that I'm a very good listener*) just ask, anytime.

*(So much so that my English Teacher wants me to psycho-analyze her! )

It's a "term [used] to describe a beginner or novice, someone who is naive, a first effort, instance, or a student in the first year of study (generally referring to high school or university study)." For example, someone in the 9th grade is a freshman.

Not as bad as MY one...

Dr. Robert Chase
55% Eccentricity, 25% Confidence, 40% Kindness

Congratulations, you're Dr. Robert Chase! You're quite the complicated person. While you may seem like a perfectly normal extremely attractive person, there is far more to you than meets the eye. It's quite likely that you've had some unusual experiences in your life, whether it be something along the lines of a stint in seminary school or something along the lines of S&M parties. You are rather insecure, and will often do things you don't want to do to win the good favors of others. While you may seem nice enough, getting ahead and doing what's best for yourself is usually more important to you than much else in life.

I'm nothing like that!

65% Eccentricity, 60% Confidence, 10% Kindness

Congratulations, you're the man himself, Dr. Gregory House! You're quite strange, and usually do your own thing regardless of what anyone else thinks. This is partially because a person with an ego as large as yours could not care less what anyone else thinks or feels about anything. Unless, of course, they're your patient and they're dying--but only if they're dying of something interesting! You're a definite a**h*le to most other people, but at least you know how to be one in style, with an awesome wit, comfortable sneakers, and a never ending variety of facial expressions.

i feel.....................
actually i kinda agree with it...........

I think I deserve a little more eccentricity...
