Spoiler:
A random thought just came to me: What happened to The One? Did he die? I think I missed that.

I sense a long, bickering-like-an-old-married-couple relationship coming.
"Shoot one comrade on the battlefield and I'm sure no one else will ever trust you again." Ashriel noted. "So, you'd be out of a job too."

And I sense endless jokes about that.
"Fine. Then I could hide somewhere instead. Bet they wouldn't search for me 200 metres underground in a 50 square mile cave system!"

"Why would they? You're not that tempting a prize." Ashriel laughed at his joke.

"As opposed to you," Hremai said, voice dripping with sarcasm, "Who is surely the most important being on the planet."

Valentin bent down beside Aarys. "Come with us into the woods." he whispered to her. "We'll let these two cool down."

"It won't be a very nice show when they start getting violent with one another." Valentin replied. He swiftly entered the wilderness. "So," he said to Aarys. "Do you think you'll be able to fall alseep tonight after all that happened earlier?"
"Uhh...Shut up, Beavis!"

"I'm sure we all will. It was a tad tiring after all." Lithnilillin remarked.

"I'll have to sleep while I can. The ICA could attack at any moment. I'll need my sleep."Aarys replied, frowning. "Then again... I keep remembering the faces of all the Rebels that were killed at the estate... I knew a lot of them. I dunno... I guess I'll see..." She sighed sadly. "Well... What about you?"

"Hell, no." Valentin replied. "It [&@%!] me off the way Ash and Hremai are fighting over such stupid things after everything that went down that morning."

Valentin stopped in front of the large and very tree. "Aarys," he said. "I think I can climb to the top of that tree faster than you can."

"You're serious?" Aarys cocked an eyebrow. "I'm a woodland elf. Save yourself the effort."

I'm trying not to be reminded of a Mass Effect Garrus quote right now.
"Allright... 123Go!" She sprinted for the tree.

As Lithnilillin became farther away from Aarys and Valentin, the soft sound of a harp could be heard in his ears. However, it was extremely quiet, and only Lithnilillin could hear it.

Music? Lithnilillin thought and followed the sound, his normally cold expression changing to one of hope.

Valentin quickly discovered that he was not the world's greatest climber. He nearly fell twice and almost hit a bird's nest from a branch.

Aarys quickly scaled the tree, and was sitting on one of the upper branches. "Strength isn't too useful when you're climbing a tree, eh?" She laughed, tossing a pine cone down at Valentin.

Valentin was trying to catch his breath as he sat on another branch across from Aarys. "Hmm...I guess not. I honestly thought that I would look a lot more awesome while climbing that tree. But, um...I'm pretty sure I just made myself look pretty dumb."
