1. Oblivion - yeah, pretty obvious, isn't it?
2. Fable. The Lost Chapters. The second of the only two RPGs that I've played up to the end - comes with being a girl, I suppose.
3. Lost Crown. A Ghost-Hunting Adventure. I'm into point-and-click quests, really...
4. ZanZarah. The Hidden Portal. It is kinda childish, but I can play it over and over again...
5. MYST. Don't really know which one :)

2. Halo series
3. CoD series
4. Hitman series
5. Metal Gear Solid series

Sonixboom
1. Halo (series)
2. Oblivion OR The Escape Velocity games
3. Myth 2 Soulblighter (old bungie game)
4. SpyFox (dry cereal)
5. Need for Speed (series)

Hackattack
1. Morrowind/Oblivion (their tied, I remember the first time I entered balamora, it was best video game moment ever!. Oblivions was being able to pick up the old bones, or pretty much the physics engine being included, which was my biggest complaint with morrowind)
2. Timesplitters series (my fave on is 2)
3. Fable 1 (I absolutely hated 2! The clunky magic system was its biggest problem for me and the open world sucked major A$$)
4. Mercenaries 1 (Just because I clocked over 30 hours in it, and dont as why or how i did it)
5. Last Stand 2 (Yes it is a flash game, but its these type of games that prevent you from getting bored at work )

No series or ties please ;). If you want your vote to count, please revise your top 5.

To all new voters: you can still post your top 5 if you want! We'll continue with this topic, these results are not final.

Dang this is hard to choose. I've played so many games.

1. Beyond Good and Evil. Game with the greatest story and lovely gameplay :D
2. Mass Effect 1. No explenation nessescary
3. Oblivion + DLC. Highest replay value of any game and so many hours wasted.
4. Half Life + episodes. I love it. I've played it like 10 times.
5. Voodo Vince.(old x-box) One of my childhood favourites and so many laughs.

And the rest
6. Mass Effect 2. Still a great game, I just don't like how much stuff they removed from the first.
7. Halo 3. An awsome game but there is better.
8. Dragon Age Origions. Love the unlimited dialouge options but the combat is too tedious.

1. Oblivion. Never before have I loved a game this much.
2. Sims. I love Sims 2 and am warming up to Sims 3, but Sims was just so new and fun and silly, making it better.
3. Starcaft. First game I ever played, back when I was still pretty much a "proper" girl and not that into games. It quickly changed.
4. Sims 2.
5. Morrowind. A bit labour-intensive, but worth it.

As of last week MW2 has dethroned Oblivion and Fallout 3 as the best game ever made besides Pac-Man.

Very hard to say, not in order. I have 6 there because it's hard to choose.

The Elder Scrolls III: Morrowind
The game is huge, complete as there is a lot of freedom for your character development and exploration. Tons of quests to do, artifacts and rare items, interesting places. The story is very good and engaging, complex, the lore is huge and among the best - probably the best - in videogaming, there's a lot of political, social and religious elements that are seen when going through all the quests as the world is very alive and immersive.

Halo: Combat Evolved
I'm a fan of the Alien movies (well the first two) and science fiction in general, and Halo is truly influenced by all these more military pieces of science fiction. The story is engaging, dumping you in a mysterious and unknown ringworld where you try to learn more about it and your foes. Long missions, huge and very well done environments with a lot of tactical choices on how to pull something off.

Final Fantasy VII
Very engaging story and characters, long game with in-depth customization of your weapons and such.

Splinter Cell: Chaos Theory
It's kinda hard to choose the best Splinter Cell among the first three, but this one puts everything further. It has the very cool and unique multiplayer of Pandora Tomorrow and adds an entirely new co-op campaign. Now there's different kind of objectives which some of them are not obligatory to pull off, making other missions go off differently. The level design is a lot less linear too. Great story of intrigue that uses elements introduced in both precedent Splinter Cell games, so nothing comes as entirely new or unrelated (the Masse kernels being an important element of the first Splinter Cell as Shetland being introduced in Pandora Tomorrow).

Chrono Trigger/Chrono Cross
The best jrpgs of their time, both have seemingly unrelated but very tied stories that are among the most interesting of the genre. Great combat, great mood and atmosphere enhanced by some very fitting music. The characters are very likable too and the environments detailed and places you'd almost like to be.

Mass Effect/Mass Effect 2
Again, I really like science fiction stuff, and here it works on a different level than Halo. It's not pure science fiction, but unlike Star Wars for example, this is not a pseudo space opera, this is a real one instead of being fantasy taking place in space. I think there is too much emphasis put on how important the mission is, saving lives and the likes at times, but the game has a very unique and interesting setting with cool places, characters and a very interesting and complex story that is unlike anything told in science fiction videogames.

Some pretty good games in that list but I need an order if you want to participate ;). And you have to pick 5 games, not 6.

1- Fallout 3. It caught me off guard after playing nothing but Call of Duty 4, and I've never been able to let go since. Simply the most addictive game ever. The only bad point is that the dlc is rather weak, except for Point Lookout and being able to finish the Main Quest and carry on playing with Broken Steel.
2- Oblivion. Same reasons as above, but replace CoD with Halo 3 and most addictive with second most. Much better dlc which almost gave it the top spot, but lacks the terror of swampfolk chasing you.
3- Halo Reach. It's not even out yet and all I've played is the beta, but the testing alone is one of the best games I've ever played. It feels much more focused and enjoyable than its brilliant but flawed predecessors.
4- The Orange Box. Technically more than one game, but they're all linked by the theme. Half-Life 2 is brilliantly challenging, and quite refreshing after three months of MW2. Portal is clever, funny and original. The companion cube is the best follower I ever had.
5- Fable 2. No matter what people say, Fable was a fantastic game, filled with that quaint British charm rarely seen in games. The successor pulls this off with aplomb, adding in much more humour and a less complicated storyline. Peter Molyneux is truly brilliant, and I can't wait for the sequel.

Runners up: Just Cause 2 (because we all need a go crazy and destroy everything game), Fable 1 (because it's hilarious and charming), Assassins Creed 2 (because it lets me be the assassin I can't be in Oblivion) and Cod: World at War (because I seem to be the only person who thinks it's better than the other two).

Heres my list of games ( these are the only games ive played longer then a couple of

1. Morrowind - Ive never played a game quite like this, the lore and your sorroundings just lure you in like a siren. Fps shooter inside a fantasy realm is my cup a tea and the mods made for it seem to keep it alive ( I like pretty graphics e.g better bodies and texture packs. )

2. Neverwinter nights 1 - Bioware make sick games. Many many years i spent playing this game and never got bored of it until i found Morrowind. Neverwinternights 2 was good but lacked the imagination of the first (also it was made by obsidian who took away the smoothness of how the game worked.)

3. Knights of the old republic 1 - Everyone loves a bit of star wars right? The characters in this game leave an impression on you which I still feel today, no over starwars game comes close.

4. Black and white 2 - Hardest strategy(base building) game ive ever played! The uniquness about it is the massive creature you get to control who acts like you but will make mistakes and youhave to teach it absouloutley everything! Also being a god is kind of sick, giant fireballs for the win!

5. Gta 4 - Me and my mates spent hours competing to see who could have the best death, police chase, stunt , killing spree and complete rampage! This feeds my violent side better then any game.

Here's mine:

1. Team Fortress 2. I can't really explain why, but I play it most of the time and I think it's awesome.

2. Half-Life 2 + episodes. I just like HL2 so much :)

3. Morrowind. I prefer vanilla, no mods. Again, it's just so awesome game.

4. Oblivion. Better to play with mods. It surprisingly made it to the list.

5. Garry's Mod. I like to create stuff in it and RP is also pretty cool.

1.) Starcraft: The first RTS I've ever played. I love how balanced the entire game is. (The first one, haven't played the second one enough to judge how good it is.)

2.) The Elder Scrolls IV: The level of detail put into this game is unmatched.

3.) Legend of Zelda: The Ocarina of Time: When you still want to play a game made for the N64, you know its one of our favorite games.

4.) Goldeneye: 007: Same as the above, I can still remember pulling all-nighters with friends and family.

5.) Dragon Age: Orgins: One of the few RPGs made recently that I can play again and again.

1. MLB Power Pros Series (MLB Power Pros 2008, if you can't vote on a series), a great baseball series, currently consisting of only two games (The normal, 2007 version, and the 2008 version). Contains a great character creation mode with plenty of RPG elements. The games also have great graphics, and surprising realism. The 2008 game also has a mode where you can play a career as any MLB player, one of your created players, or you can create a player from scratch.

2. TES IV, Oblivion, a solid game good for wasting more than 20 full days of my life (500+ hours).

3. Paper Mario, good graphics, great music, great gameplay, and good dialogue.

4. Mario Superstar Baseball, a lot better than it's sequel, however it is really easy so playing multiplayer is ideal for replay value.

5. Super Smash Brothers Brawl, good multiplayer, decent single player, not much else to say.

Honorable mentions (games I haven't played long enough to judge or didn't make top 5):

TES III, Morrowind: Haven't really got into it too much yet, but it seems fun. Also, I really love how bad of a computer can run this. My laptop runs it fine with a few mods and it pretty much can't even run Sims 2 anymore.

Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets: For just being downright hilariously awful, I have many fond memories of laughing so hard at events that happened in that game, whether intentionally included in the story, or not (jumping off of the castle).

Lost Kingdoms: It has a great battle system, good gameplay, unfortunately some cards are overpowered, and even with multiplayer, the replay isn't that great.

McDonalds Treasureland Adventure: Mostly for the same reasons as Harry Potter, but this one actually had decent gameplay and can actually prove challenging. It was pretty fun when I was younger.

Note that this list is written mostly from memory, so something probably slipped my mind.

2. The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion (!!!)

3. Call of Duty VI (6)/modern warefare 2 (!!)

4. The Elder Scrolls III: Morrowind (!)

5: Rome - Total War (epic battles)
