Always *humble look*

Our dreams come from our subconscious hence they must somehow reflect back on ourselves. Quite an interesting statement, especially if you, like me, are one of those who writes down their dreams.

To this day I have written down 85 dreams in my dream journal. Some of these are very short while others are several hundred words. However, for the last 2.5 weeks I've been, for various reasons, unable to record any new dreams. This greatly saddens me.
However, it also gave birth to an interesting idea. I have several dream signs, i.e things that tend to show up in my dreams. I've never really bothered to check how often they appear though but now I went ahead and made a list of in how many dreams a certain thing has appeared.

Blood: 8 dreams, though in two instances it was fake blood
Sharp objects: 12 dreams
Killing: 11 dreams
The Joker: 15 dreams, in a couple of instances it was only a reference though, like a magic trick or the make up
Sporks: 1 dream XD
Competitions and going against people; usually the government XD: 18 dreams
Game related: 18 dreams, TES related in six instances

I could probably have made the list longer but I got bored after reading through the dreams a few times.

Sad, innit? This is what IB does to your mind :|
National test eh? I hate those things. I took one for Latin last year, and I'm pretty sure I bombed it. If you get a good enough grade, you get a scholarship and a trip to study in Rome over the summer. I think I'll do better this year, because I can now read Latin nearly as fast as I can read english

EDIT: I made something way better, so I'll just PM it to ya :P

Hmm. Well, seeing as how I've just discovered this thread and I'm pretty much brand new here, and also assuming we're still posting a bit about ourselves, I'm going to put in my part.

I was born here in America, but the entire sides of both my family are full-blooded Irishmen, so I guess I'm Irish-American. And yes, I do have red hair  and I do drink. Alot . I currently am 16 years old and reside in Raleigh, North Carolina. I'm a junior at my local high school and am (most of the time  ) an A/B honor roll student. I am in the Honor's Chorus (We call ourselves The Die Meistersingers) at my school. We do lots of gigs around the state and sometimes even the country. My hobbies include games (Or else I wouldn't be here XD), going to the movies, watching my favorite TV shows, playing and watching hockey (Go Canes! If you don't know, that's my state's hockey team, The Carolina Hurricanes), watching football (Yes, American football) and reading and/or writing. My favorite things are: the color green, bacon, bonfires and hiking. Well, that's about it.

I'm also the leader of a local fight club. I'm serious. We meet ever Friday night and fight just for the hell of it. We're all friends though, so it's cool.

Ok now I'm really done.

I have also had lucid dreams. And to prove to myself that it was a dream
I decided to jump down some stairs :D (which in real life would have hurt me badly)

I LOVE having lucid dreams. For me they generally occur just before I wake up, but they're great fun. Shouting insults at people you don't like while flying or something is a great way to vent anger, with no ill consequences.

I've had some of those before. I started my little "dream journal" after my first one .

My favourite lucid dream was where I beat Ninja Warrior in Mjolnir Mk IV armor :P

I think I might have had lucid dreams naturally when I was younger and ever since I read about them on the Internet I've been working my way towards having them again.
Apparently it comes naturally to some people, for me it took several months but on the 26th of October I counted my fingers and reached nine. XD The dream only lasted a few seconds after that but everyone says it's get easier after the initial one, and indeed, I managed to stabilize last night's dream a bit before having a false awakening. >.<
I'm so looking forward to having them regularly, just think of the fun!
...and all the people you can meet...

Edit: I think I'm losing weight due to my illness Image

Normally, as soon as I realise I'm dreaming I wake up, but if I can manage to stay asleep during a lucid dream I find I can control what happens - like turning it into a flying dream.

Having a lucid dream is freaking amazing :D . I've had a few, and they are so surreal and real at the same time, that it really throws off my day after I awake. If I nap in the afternoon, I usually have some crazy ass dreams for some reaseon  . Happens every time.

It does indeed. I'd tell you how long my last one was, but it's really not along the same.... time line? I dunno, but you can think waaayyy faster than you can just react.

Like, what are we talking about: a couple of pounds, or massive weight loss? It's not that bad if it's only a few pounds.......... unless you're morbidly underweight.......

-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Now about MY day. Today in swimming practice we had a pushup war. For those who don't know these are the rules of a pushup war:

1: gather around in a circle
2: the first person does one pushup
3: the group goes around clockwise in a circle each person doing 1 pushup
4: the number of pushups is increased by 1, and the group goes around again
5: if anybody does not complete the round's # of pushups, they're out
6: Repeat steps 4-5 untill only 2 people are left
7: The two remaining people must face each other
8: Steps 4-5 continue untill one person gives.
9: The victor must continue doing pushups untill he/she gives
10: The victor wins any prize available, and bragging rights

Now, I made it to the 25th round [did 19 in that one] that's about 319 total. My arms feel like jelly! I can hardly type this! And I didn't even come close to winning! The last guy to drop out went in the 29th round . And the winner.... wow.... this kid was a BEAST! He didn't even show a SINGLE sign of weakness untill the 27th round! He got a total 488 pushups!

I play soccer, I have no need for arm strength, just abs and leg strength.
