Dammit, Morrigan*. I always make that mistake.
Anyways, played some RDR, but played many hours of Dragon Age today. Assumably, more than twelve. Honestly, I thought that BioShock had some of the best dialog ever, but Dragon Age seems to beg to differ. Honestly, the scenes feel much more powerful than any other game I've seen, and the voice actors do a wonderful job. I recruited the Circle of Magi and the Dalish Elves. I'm thinking to perform the Arl of Redcliffe quest, then the Urn one. Then followed up by Orzanmar, and then finishing this part of the main quest at Derenim.

I spent the whole day doing 3D work. 3 tutorials, 5 attempts at making a hand and now my own hand is sore. I've been working on a Neko girl model for a competition. It's not easy when this is your first attempt at modelling anatomy and you don't have software like Z-Brush that makes it super easy.

I live in Kent you muppet...but yeah I agree with what you where about to say. We lost our 'garden of England' status because of to many Chavs ahah. Not that Kent is even remotely interesting enough for it anyway...The Tom wrote:Upon my return, I was told that we'd be going to Kent for Lunch. 'Kent? Who the hell lives in Kent? What a shi-

Re: The 'What happened to you today' thread
If Kent is the garden of England, then Surrey is its patio.
Anyway, big news - Bury St. Edmunds actually has a decent bar now! When I lived here all the time, the perennial problem used to be where to go after the pubs kicked everyone out at 11, since every bar seemed to cater solely to chavvy girls who just want to scream a lot and drink shots, and the two clubs that the town possesses just deserve to be fire-bombed.
But, when last night's 'pop down to the pub for a couple of pints' session got a bit out of hand and we ended up in a new establishment called LP, we were pleasantly surprised enough to stay in there until 1am. A fine selection of drinks including proper cask ales, which you never get in bars, good bar staff, plenty of places to sit meaning that you can actually get a table, decent music and no riff-raff. The only problem was the prices really - my memory may have been somewhat clouded by one too many pints of IPA but I think I can remember paying £14 for three drinks at one point...
And, since I was out in a small provincial market town, everywhere I went I was bumping into people I used to go to school with, which was quite nice I suppose. I received favourable reviews on both my beard and the quality of my Facebook status updates.

Salutations to all from the airport, where I may, in fact, be stuck for all eternity. It amazes me how fantastic airplanes are, and how snow and ice can render them useless. Blah.
And that is what my past two days have been like. Thank goodness for wireless internet, eh?

I've just spent the last few hours with my best mate doing a deathmatch on Black Ops with nothing but throwing knives and tomahawks. Great afternoon.

Kestral got me into Da:O again, created my dwarf Noble, and i want to stick with this one, rather than finish a little, and then create another like i usually do. Might actually finish the main quest again with this one.

I was playing Black Ops at a friend's house about a week ago. I think he was quite taken aback not only by the fact that I was willing to play it, but also by how ridiculously good I am with the snipers, and ridiculously bad with everything else.r wrote:I've just spent the last few hours with my best mate doing a deathmatch on Black Ops with nothing but throwing knives and tomahawks. Anyway, I've basically spent the entire day desperately trying to get iTunes to work on my PC. And I mean that literally, as in around 10 hours of slowly installing, updating, uploading tracks, inputting titles and importing to my iPod.

Welcome to the club. I'm pretty OCD about my library. Every title, artist name, track number, year and genre must be just right and all album covers must be there and be of the best quality I can find. Every now and again I go through it to double check everything.Veck wrote:Anyway, I've basically spent the entire day desperately trying to get iTunes to work on my PC. What have I done today? I played GT5 online several hours in a row, that's what. It's really fun when you enter a server with other serious drivers. Then you can have intense races that aren't against silly AI and have a bit of fun at the same time.

Yesterday was a Bad day, but today is even worse. I woke up relatively early, but also appear to have acquired food poisoning.... Yea, it's not very pleasant

Breaks are terrible for me, I always forget to date, sleep in late, don't get anything done. I just shaved today, after not shaving since the 24th (I don't even know how many days ago that was).
On the plus side, today I have guitar lessons, going to the mall to return some stuff, and see if there's anything worthwasting spending money on.

Man I haven't shaved since the start of the month. I've got a little western chin-foliage going on here. Perhaps I'm due for a shave.I_am_one wrote:I just shaved today, after not shaving since the 24th (I don't even know how many days ago that was).
But today I worked on making an AC motor for a physics assignment. Here's a tip for anyone else who may get this assignment: If you're short for some strong magnets, find an old Microwave, remove it's microwave emitter and chances are, it'll have 2 or three strong soft iron magnets. You just have to dismantle it.
Also bought New Vegas, and as I've already said, am having trouble enjoying it.

Today the power cord I got because my dog ate my old one came in the mail. Now my wife and I don't have to take turns getting on our laptops. Woot.

You can also get powerful magnets (NIB) from speakers or hard drives.

Anyway, today I played three hours of Fallout: New Vegas and then tried to get into TF2. Why can I only get kills as a Demoman? No matter, I hope my friend can teach me a thing or two when he gets back from holiday.

So, I got my new computer today. Fallout: New Vegas is finally done downloading/installing/whatever (apparently, I need Steam to play it...), so now, I finally get to play games on my PC after one year of having a broken graphics card/motherboard/processor/whatever was broken on that computer.
In other news, my new computer has Windows 7 on it. How nice.
