I would like to give you a short guide on how to type like me (I suppose this counts, since it's part of my habits) All you need to do is hack into my account and follow these rules, and no-one will know the difference
These are the rules of Doggy-speak:
Rule 0: Never use Americanisms, American spellings or American phrases. Just don't. Because, y'know... I'm English.
Rule 1: Doggy-speak is a dialect of English, that occasionally draws on whatever languages the speaker (or writer) feels like, especially if it would be completely unexpected (example: one, two, three, quatre, five, sex, sieben, eight, nine, ten) The more random words from languages you use, the better, as you can see, I used three non-English languages in the example (French, Latin and German)
Rule 1.5: Make up long words. Seriously, if a word you want doesn't exist, make it up and make it sound like a word. The other way you can use this is making adjectives out of nouns and verbs or vice versa (example: monotony -> monotonous,[that's true] therefore taxonomy -> taxonomous [I'm not sure if that one is true though, but it makes sense!]) bonus points if you don't know what the word means but make up a definition that sounds right
Rule 2: Always use correct grammar and spelling. (example: i liek dog's -> I like dogs.)
Rule 3: Be verbose. I never use one word when 6352 will do. (example: I like dogs. -> I find the company of certain domesticated canines pleasant and, if I were permitted, I would strive to be in the company of said canines in the majority of the day) Generally try to add length through repitition or by using words with many syllables.
Rule pi: Go to a dictionary, flick through it to three random pages. Glance down at the pages and learn the first word you chance upon on each page. Strive to use these words in every sentence.
Rule 4: Only ever say meaningful stuff. Never post just to say "yea me 2 lol", instead post to say "I am also affected by this phenomena and find it inherently amusing."
Rule 5: Use bad analogies, not necessarily bad analogies, but more innapropriate ones.(example: "Saying that global warming happens is like saying that you witnessed a fight between God and Mr. T, not only is it a pointless boast, but the latter would obviously win!") This serves to distract from the subject at hand and leads nicely to:
Rule 6: Stray off topic. It's a lot to write, so make it interesting and diverse. Turn a conversation about the merits of ironing boards into a conversation about how well you can whistle. It makes things interesting.
Rule 7: Use elipses... three dots... use them lots...
Rule 8: Always finish with a witty statement that ends up making the entire post redundant.(example: see below)
Rule 9: Walls of text are fun!
So that, my friends is how you type like me... by... uh... typing like me...

If your statements were predictable, he wouldn't be amazed.
Dogmantra, it's people like you that make the English language so great and terrible and truly frightening. Not only do you go through as many loopholes as you can, but you actually just break the rule if there isn't a loophole there. AND YOU KNOW THAT YOU'RE DOING IT!! If William Safire were dead, he'd be rolling in his grave. However, it is almost 10:00 so he's probably rolling in his bed from nightmares about people with your kind of linguistic liberalism.
It may not be apparent, but I am actually laughing at your post. I just find it incredibly inappropriate as a rulebook for any language at all. That's not to say that you, yourself, are not an intelligent person; often times it takes intelligence to want to break rules in creative ways, such as that.
In conclusion, your guide is offensive to every English scholar and student in the world. Congratulations, you liberal jerk.

Wolfy, I think that may have been a bit harsh. [see signature]

I only halfway meant it. Yes, I meant some of it about breaking the English language laws, but I also think of Dogmantra as a friend so it was lighthearted. I was also searching for a way to use William Safire in one of my posts, and that presented a perfect opportunity. The smiley was meant to convey that.

Well, I'm 17 years old, live in Western Florida, am a omnivore converting to a herbivore (for healths sake, not the animals), I'm a 6-Day Creationist, I've been trying to get right with God, I'm into cars (love diesel trucks), electronics (especially computers and audio equipment), the Bible, and am anticipating graduating from High School this May.
That was one looong sentence. xD

I never found eating healthy as "fun", more of an annoyance. I Exercise 2 hours a day so I burn it off, once in morning, once at night.
