Do I always have to carry the weight around here...
So I supppose that Ghengiz Cohen the Barbarian (from Discworld) is just about done. Just a few Misc Quests left in SI... Completed Arena, FG, Kot White Stallion Mod, KotN, Main Quest, all Misc Quest, and Shivering Isles... all of the Fame Quests, except Mages Guild. May still do Dark Brotherhood, just be Gogron gro-Bolmog(ish) about it, and just walk in and kill everything, not worrying about the Bonuses.

This was a Role Play, and test, to only use the Major Skills, from a Pre-Set Game Class. Again, I should have gone Custom class, switched Blunt and H2H for Acrobatics and Sneak. The only other skills besides the Majors that I did use, was Acrobatics. Sort of hard to not use it. I did use Training Sessions in Heavy Armor to help Pad Endurance, and then used the Training Sessions for Sneak, to Raise up Agility. However, I never actually used those Skills in Game. Skill Books also help with some of the Increases.
Doing this with a Warrior is actually easy. Would be much harder with a Mage Class (maybe next Character). The Role Play was fun, but had it's hitches. Being a Barbarian Nord, I did do the hit the Tavern thing, until I realized it was Raising Mercantile, so then held off, and just killed all of the Deer, and Looted the Booze, so I could at least Role Play Meals. Another aspect of Cohen, the 96 year old Barbarian, was that I always Rested for an hour after Major Fights. He also had a habit of evicting the Residents of Camps for sleeps while adventuring, but only slept for a few hours, as the olden folks are wont to do.
Since I did not use Sneek Mode, or Alchemy (Poison), it made for some epic battles. I did play thru clean, at normal setting up until Level 30, but for those that have read about Cohen in Discworld, he would wipe out a band of Assasins, without even appearing to move. So to fix this, for a Role Play perspective, I tweeked his Sword in the CS, and Dropped the Difficulty Slider down a bit. He was then able to slay the standard NPC, and most Creatures in a single stroke. He still needed 2-3 hits for Boss Creatures, Ogres, and Dremora. I played with it, until I got just the right balance.
Another aspect of only using the Majors, was Security, Mercantile, and Speachcraft/Personality. I could only pick up Loot from Corpses, and Unlocked Chests. Since I didn't want to Raise Mercantile, I could not sell Loot, so my only Loot Income, was from Gold Coin Loot. I did use the Areana Matches, Black Bows, and Vampire Dust Rewards/Payments for income though. It was also harder to get Information, with a Low Speachcraft/Personality, which meant more Gold Needed for Bribery. Raising Fame did help later in the Game.
...so from the above, this also required much more Dungeon Diving, and much more wandering. Which brings up Leveling, which went fast at first, but died to a halt around Level 30... as Athletics was the only Skill I was using that wasn't already at 100. I did fight some with Blunt and H2H later on, but not for long, as I didn't want to do Grinding, I wanted Natural Skill Increases. Which required much more Walking, Running, and Swimming. This was a pleasant Surprise, as I typically tend to Fast Travel once I get a good part of the map scouted out. I was able to see much more of the landscape.
