"Well 'people who do bad things,' that could be anyone. Could be Jack Kormin for all we know." said Viktor. He paused and then clarified. "We're not killing the President. Although I suppose if they can teleport, there's nothing stopping them from doing it."

Dick left the building via the destroyed window and took care not to liberate his blood on the shards.

"Can we go now? I just want to get out of here." Sherwood asked the others glumly.

Wallflower nodded. "We can.. I mean if you want.. I guess we can.. go on the Burnt, t-talk about our next course of action there." He offered, looking at Sherwood, after all the director said he was the leader for this excursion. "They offered a place in.. England I think.. a.. erm.. drug dealer.."

"Back to the plane then." said Viktor. He turned and began to walk but then stopped, as if he had forgotten something. Ah, yes, the new girl. Almost forgot about her. Better say something, she might be the kind to hold that against me. He turned and shook Naomi's hand with a smile on his face. "It's nice to meet you Neon, I'm Vanadium. I'm a scientist specializing in SPIG biology."

Sherwood looked at the bright-haired newcomer as Viktor introduced himself to her.

Although he felt that he was being a bit rude not to give greetings himself, he left and made his way back to the plane.

Wallflower waved. "I'M erm.. Wen.. But my codename is Wallflower.." He mumbled towards Neon, looking over at the Burnt. "We.. should.. erm.. go to the plane.. then decide from there right.. I certainly.. don't want to spend any time here.. Creepy.."

Viktor finished shaking Neon's hand and continued on his way back to the plane.

They made it to the plane, Hack was there reading a magazine, except it wasn't on, just the digital form of one. "Oh, you're back! Good, I got transmissions of another ope- oh you met her good. Well they realised they forgot to give you throat mikes and ear comms so we should be getting some one..."

Light glowed from outside, appearing rather suddenly around them all before gathering in a humanoid form. "Rainbow Fox delivery. Right, that should be enough for all of you.." He stated, placing the box down on the table before vanishing just as suddenly. Icarus blinked then looked at them all, hands clapped together, eager for adventure. "So where to next?"

"Shouldn't we go back to report in to KIRIN?" asked Maddie. "Or can we just do that from here? I don't really know how this works," she said with a sudden blush and nervous chuckle. "Those people in the house wanted us to go to England, but... like... we should check back first to see if that's okay, right?"

Meanwhile, she walked over to the table where the box had just been placed. She did this hesitantly, due to the strangeness of its sudden arrival, but nevertheless she cautiously opened up the box. Assuming it was their throat mics and earpieces, she would then equip hers.

Sherwood stared at the goings on back in the plane.

"I...I'm not coming...going. I don't want to join KIRIN. If you could drop me off at home...or...I could just go home from here, I...suppose."

Dick climbed onto the ceiling after entering the plane and laid down. "I shall be partaking in sleep. I do apologise in advance if I have broken any rules or if sleeping is deemed rude. It is one of my most liked things." He commented. "And I do not wish to eat these things called mikes. I do not understand why we are needed to eat them." He had confusion in his tone as he rested his jaw on the ceiling like a dog. "But I shall sleep." And with that, he closed his eyes and began to take a nap.

Viktor queued up behind Maddie, ready to take one of the microphones and earpieces once she was done. Sherwood's ghost ability is useful for scouting, we shouldn't let him leave. "Are you sure that's a good idea?" said Viktor, feigning concern. "They know who you are, they called you on your phone. They could come for you at any time and you can't exactly defend yourself." said Viktor. He tilted his head slightly and shrugged. "At least if you're with us we can protect you."

"But...they're just interested in bad people, right? They...why would they come for me? I'm a good person." Sherwood sounded concerned, and his eyebrows frowned as he questioned Viktor.

"We know that, but they don't. They might think you're leaving because you don't want to help people, that you don't care about anyone else. That you aren't a good Samaritan." said Viktor.

Sherwood glanced over to the side as he thought.

"[&@%!]." He muttered, before hastily moving to sit down on a seat.
He rested his head back in the chair and covered his face with his hands.

"Hey." said Viktor, his tone still implying that he cared about Sherwood's well being. He got out of line, walked over to Sherwood and squatted. He put his hand on the man's shoulder. "We're in this together and I'm not going to let them hurt you, not while I'm still around."

Viktor thought over the benefits of being 'friends' with Sherwood. He's perfect. He'd be a lot more valuable than that giant buffoon even if it is more work. For one thing we can actually have pleasant conversation rather than it feeling like I'm pulling teeth.

Dick started to snore. They were deep and could easily be mistaken for growling but he was a bit of a loud sleeper sometimes and was rather unaware of what was going on. His tail was just hanging down and probably in the way of someone.

Sherwood removed his hands from his face and lifted his head to look at Viktor.
His eyes had tears visible in them and his face was stricken with sadness.
"I just...I just wanted to meet people like me. You know? Other spigots? I thought it would be fun. And now...Paul's dead...and, and...I just want things to be normal again."
He let out a sob and quickly tried to hold back another. He felt embarrassed to be in such a state infront of strangers: using the sleeve of his jacket to quickly wipe away a tear as it began to roll down his cheek.

Viktor took his hand off Sherwood's shoulder. "I know what you mean. I joined for a research position, not to jet around the world with people trying to kill me." said Viktor.

Wallflower nodded. "Y-yeah, it's pretty hideous.. when you think on it.. but we are dealing with.. I think vigilante serial killers... or spree killers.. whatever they are." He mumbled. "Does anyone want to c-call the director or shall I?" He offered a phone clenched in his hand.
