I might be awake by then as well. If you feel like starting up the server tonight, leave us a message here once you get home.

We are called Boatmurdered, not Vault 69. After all, the world was constantly on fire in the story of Boatmurdered. It's quite fitting.

What kind of dorf are you? My hole, my name. More importantly, Minecraft and Dwarf Fortress are well known for being quite similar to one another, so my name makes more sense.

You have to overwrite your version of Minecraft.jar with the new one. You'll know that you did it right when you see the new logo and animated main menu.

I love the more abundant resources. Iron is almost as common as coal now. I've actually ignored gold veins. I can't believe I'm saying this, but I think that Minecraft is an actual game now.

So, now I don't give a flying crap about Bukkit.
We're getting a 1.8 prototype server.

And it'll be normal PvP for now.

I tried the free version once, and I didn't like it for being way too open-ended. However, I'll be able to buy it within two weeks, so... Does the paid version have any more structure?

Let's make it a roleplay only server as well. You have to roleplay to take part in the server. Partially because we might have to restart shortly after, but mostly because Minecraft is much more fun now that it has more RPG elements.

Minecraft is essentially a giant sandbox. The paid for version does offer more actual game elements (Monsters and the like), but you also have to put up with the fact that your in charge of making your own fun. No way around it.

Agh, but what if you only want to roleplay sometimes?

Also.... Server's up. Same old map, very new OS.

There's some actual challenge? I might have to get it, then.
