"It's a plan, then." Aarys said. "In the meantime, I think we have a rebellion to fight."

Gladro followed the General as he had waited the whole year to find out why he wanted them. "I like using guns a lot more than I expected." he mumbled, upset he didn't find a boyfriend during the past year and not wanting to die alone on what was sure to be a suicide mission.
So we have come to solve every squabble in the village personally?

"I liked driving better," Hremai said in a passing remark, jogging inside to hear what the general had to say.

"Yeah," Valentin said in response to Hremai's statement. "We'll be sure to take you off the 'gataway driver' list."

"A half blind getaway driver is half as likely to hesitate." Aarys noted. "I nominate Hremai for our getaway driver."

"But a half-blind getaway driver is twice as likely to drive our vehicle into a waterfall." Valentin laughed. "No hard feelings, Hremai. I'm sure you'd do fine."

"Hey. I didn't hit anything the last 4 months!" Hremai said indignantly, though snickering.

"Nobody would mind that. Alright, I have an idea. Hremai will be our get-towards driver. If we need to drive into a Shard base and run the [&@%!] over, our Drow friend here should be behind the wheel."

We'll just say the rest followed.

Oh, and Matt, you'll recieve stealth training later on. Don't worry.
Sanchez led the eight into a large, dark planetarium. An extremely old, thin man sat at the center of the chamber with his legs twisted into a pretzel.

"They are here." said the General.

The old man opened his shining, golden eyes. "I know." he said in a deep, raspy voice.

"This guy looks like my grandma." Ashriel remarked. "Of course, he's not an elf, and he wasn't killed when Shards invaded his city. Other than that, they could be twins."

"Come now, Hremai." said the old man. "I was the first of all of these rebels to know your names. On the morning the eight of you were rescued, the Shard knocked on each of your doors. Hremai, when you answered, you said 'Seriously, why do you guys always have to be so loud? You never just pop in to say hi!'. Don't you remember?"

Ashriel paled and started to back away slowly from the scene. He did not want the old man revisiting his arrest. Unlike the others, Ashriel knew magic when he lived in the Ice Elf city, and this was it.
