Re: Frontier: Vvardenfell
Thoryn had returned with Veriax to join the others, the Scimitar now slung over his back.
"Do we go to Vivec?" he asked Leiden firmly, "I am eager not to abandon our quest so soon."

"Don't rush, Vivec isn't going anywhere," Qa'Mhirr waved off, "Come, sit, enjoy something, partake of the sugarrr or find some booze."
He wrapped his tail around the pipe, guiding it to his lips, and took another drag, letting the smoke blow out from the sides of his mouth as he rummaged through his satchel.

Thoryn ignored the Khajiit rather pointedly and awaited Leiden's reply. We are too different, he and I, Thoryn thought as he watched the Khajiit wearily, I can only hope that he does not become an issue.
"Perhaps we should rest here the night, and be off at sunrise tomorrow?" he suggested.

"What's the matter holyman? Afraid more of your precious dirt collection is being defiled?" Qa'Mhirr mocked, pulling out the Ash Mask, putting it up to his face, and blowing out a puff of smoke, escaping through the eyes.
Disinterested in Thoyrn's lack of reaction, he replaced the mask in his pack and started reloading the Skooma pipe.

Re: Frontier: Vvardenfell
Spoiler:
"Leiden showed great willpower to defy Boethiah, he broke the spell!" "If a few seconds more had passed i might have.. well... i don't know what might of happened." Night-Runner trailed off. He looked around the room whistfully for a few seconds before saying;
"Anyway, i propose we find some food, I don't know about you but I'm starving and i don't fancy walking all the way to vivec with no supplies."
He hoisted the hulking bag of treasure onto his back once again and half walked, half stumbled towards the door.

"And what of this ruin?" Thoryn inquired, remembering suddenly talk of a Daedric Shrine nearby, "Oh, I don't know what to do right now," he sighed, "we should decide in the morning, I think I need rest more than anything. Someone should take the first watch."

"We're going to Vivec." He said. "But not before we rest up, and eat. This place holds more secrets - I'm sure of it. Besides, Azura will probably be watching... And I'm not one to taunt Daedra. We're seeing this through. What we've found now is pittance compared to the riches we'll find in Vivec."

"Vivec is going to be nice..." Llarays mumbled, his eyes distant. He picked up his bag, and stood up.

"Then it is settled," Thoryn sighed, "I'm sure there are some beds in the manor, it would be good to sleep in a real bed after all these days in the wilderness," he thought aloud.

Re: Frontier: Vvardenfell
"Let's find the kitchen - I'd rather go to bed on a full stomach." He said, walking downstairs, wandering around the lobby. After trying a few rooms, he finally found it, and got to work lighting the stove, with a pile of firewood found nearby.

Re: Frontier: Vvardenfell
"Food?" Night-runner said, following Leiden down stairs.
"I like food." He looked around the kitchen thoughtfully. "But there won't be any here, this place has been derelict for 200 hundred years. Nothing keeps that long, surely?" He sat across from the stove Leiden was lighting and took the ebony helm out of his bag. He pulled out his knife and wedged it between the helm and it's visor, trying to pry the two away from eachother.

Re: Frontier: Vvardenfell
"I brought some. If you like, I'll share. I haven't had to touch my supplies yet, and we're halfway to Vivec." Leiden took out some dried meats, some carrots, and a leak, as well as the leftovers of whatever bread he had. "Stew." He grinned. Searching through the cupboards, he got a pot. Turning around, he noticed something behind him - a huge, huge wine rack - full with wine. He looked at Night-Runner, and back at the winerack. "Jackpot." He ran over, barely able to contain his excitement. There was everything from Alto, to Shadowbanish wine. He finally decided on three bottles - one Surilie 399, one Tamika 399, and one Surilie 415. The 415 was for cooking the stew in - the 399's were for drinking.
Leiden, content with his haul, went back to preparing the meal. "Who want's stew?!" He yelled, it echoing through the manor.

Thoryn came into the kitchen, seating himself he looked thankfully at Leiden and his collection of ingredients. "It'd make a nice change from Scrib Jerky and travel rations," he said with a grimace.

"Yes, sugar and spice, and everything nice," Llarays commented, coming to the kitchen. "Ues, I want stew, " he said.

Re: Frontier: Vvardenfell
"No don't put sugar in it" Night-Runner said, glowering at the little khajiit. He turned to the cabinet Leiden had discovered, inspecting it closely. In one of the corners there was a spirit section, filled with old and valuable drinks. Sujamma, Flin, Shein, Greef, Mazte and even some small bottles of Cyrodiilic Brandy. He took one of these down and uncorked it, sniffing at it to make sure it was still good. It smelled divine. He corked it and squeezed it into his already heaving bag. That would be nice for later. For now he took down 2 bottles of Surilie wine and a bottle of Greef, to drink with dinner.

Re: Frontier: Vvardenfell
"I'm putting wine in it." Leiden said. "Besides, I doubt you mean the sugar that comes from sugar cane." He laughed. Leiden cut up some of the meat with his sword, before tossing it into the pot. It simmered against the metal, as he cut up the vegetables. He threw them in next, along with torn up corners of bread, and the entire bottle of wine. "And that's it." He said, sitting up on a counter. "That's dinner. Now we just have to wait for it to actually cook."

Llarays suddenly stiffened. "This is too perfect to be true..." he mumbled.

"On second thought, it seems some of us have already enough crazy," said as he returned to his pipe and equipment, pulling out some small metal pieces and oil.
He sat down and removed some large panels from his right arm, working on making his arm lighter and lubing up the gears.

Re: Frontier: Vvardenfell
Leiden looked up at the screaming pirate as he ran out, and shook his head. "For a supposed adventurer, he's certainly skittish..." The broth now began to boil, and meat juices mixed with wine, making a deliciously rich smell. He stirred the soup with the flat of his sword, and pieces of vegetables and bread swirled around, sinking down into the bottom. "So," Leiden said. "What are you going to do with your share of the spoils, Qa'Mhirr? After this is all over, what do you plan to do?"

Re: Frontier: Vvardenfell
"Do?" Qa'Mhirr echoed from the next room, "What khajiit always does, returns to Tenmar to hide the spoils and go off to the next hunt for more," he stated as if obvious.
"Though Qa'Mhirr may take some time to clean the filth from his mind," he paused mid-sentence, as if listening to something, "It can be very annoying to not know when a voice comes from within or out."

Re: Frontier: Vvardenfell
"Huh," He said, pausing. "I think I might stay here. On Vvardenfell, I mean. Start a colony. Start that mine up..." His voice trailed off. Visions of what it could be ran through his mind. "Hopefully with less slavery this time." He laughed, resuming his conversation. "Llarays, will you look for some bowls?"

Thoryn left the others to continue searching the manor, looking for clues as to the previous inhabitants. He came upon what seemed to be the master bedroom, and before too long he found himself resting his head on the pillow and drifting into slumber.

Llarays looked at Thoryn leaving. "Without food?" he asked the Dunmer.
