Order it at a bookshop. You can get any book currently in print that way.

Almost done with Once and Future King. Very good book too. T.H. White has a splendid way with words, and he describes the common Man just so dang well, it really is amazing.
Once I complete this book though, I will devour The Book of Merlyn, then retrace my steps through the Halo series.
Also, upon starting the Halo series books, I would open a Halo trivia for any and all peeps out there who think themselves halfway competent in the subject.

Halo Evoloutions is pretty good, it's a collection of short stories in the Halo Universe.POMC S117 wrote:I want to read a Halo book. Can you recommend a good one?

Just started 'The Forsyte Saga' by John Galsworthy.
In between the lines there's a lot of obscurity.
I'm not inclined to resign to maturity.
If it's alright, then you're all wrong.
But why bounce around to the same damn song?

Hmm...Tyrion, Arya and Daenarys (although she's taken a turn that I don't like). I'm also quite fond of Jon and Bran.

Reading the Hunchback of Notre Dame as school is starting now and I am surprised that it is quite enjoyable.
Twice and twice shall he be marked, twice to live and twice to die.
Once the heron, to set his path. Twice the heron, to name him true.
Once the Dragon, for remembrance lost. Twice the Dragon, for the price he must pay.

Of course it is. It's Victor Hugomulder wrote:Reading the Hunchback of Notre Dame as school is starting now and I am surprised that it is quite enjoyable.
The novel is true masterpiece of French romanticism, which Hugo stood by even when realism started advancing in literature.
I also enjoyed Les Miserables by the same author.

Re: The 'What are you reading at the moment' thread
It isn't that enjoyable to read, I can assure you, but when you consider all the issues the book deals with, and their importance to this day, it can be a very interesting book indeed. I would never read it again(well, maybe) but I have no doubt that it is a masterpiece of literature.Shadowscale wrote:We are starting "The great Gatsby" in english class, it doesn't seem all that very interesting.
I am reading Metro 2033. Their are some issues with the translation from Russian and it is very strange, yet it still intrigues me...

Finishing reading Lirael after getting somehow distracted by Abhorsen (sequel to Lirael), The Kingdom beyond the Waves (trust me, it's not an Atlantis book, really!) and The Diary of a Wimpy Kid (the ''protagonist'' is a selfish prick just like his father, but due to the way everyone acts towards him, it's rather understandable).

Have you read Sabriel?
It's an awesome trilogy. I got Lirael for a birthday present, tbh I wasn't very overwhelmed at first, but by the end I was drawn in and the ending prompted me to buy the other two a.s.a.p. @_@
Ended up reading the entire trilogy in like two days. :$

Halfway through A Clash of Kings. I can't even imagine what else George Martin cooked up. Five more books like this
