Tamrielic Adventures: Vol. 2

Per slowed run sprint to a jog as Arellius spoke. Acting rashly had failed him the last few times he'd tried it. What were the chances that Gudrun had actually stumbled upon his friends? Next to none.

Per stopped and grinned to Arellius. "Sure, we'll do that. Heh-heh."

Arellius Afer III - Suran

Arellius broke into a broad grin that managed to be both friendly and intimidating at the same time, glad he wouldn't have to kill Per, not whilst he was still useful. He slowed to a halt, somewhat closer to the guardhouse than he had been a few moments ago, and slowly withdrew the ebony blade he kept at his right hip. He could just about make out what was going on inside the guardhouse now through the dense, murky smoke, there was flashes of flame, and one dim artificial light floating close to the exit. Something serious going on in there, he was sure, something serious that he rather let Gudrun handle and die down before he attempted to sort. You can't collect your payment when your dead.

"Okay, Nord," he grumbled, gaze fixed on the exit. "If someone comes ou' ye'll need t'be chasin'm down. Sort'm ou'. Unless it's tha'Dunmer o'course. Leave'm to me. Got it?"

Hidden:

In lore, set the broken bone right then cast spell. Give a few days/week of rest for safety.

Hidden:

Okay, thanks. Thought it'd be something like that but I wasn't sure.

At Psyfalia's nod, Niralie moved to her side and took hold of the other woman's uninjured arm, pulling it across her shoulders so that when she stood she could support her as much as possible. "We can take a better look at your arm once we're out of the fighting," she explained. Trying not to jostle Psyfalia too much, she slowly got to her feet. She wasn't sure if Psyfalia felt up to walking, but either way she'd do her best to pull her through the open door.

Psyfalia continued to cry out in pain as Niralie helped her. Tears were flowing down her cheeks as a result of the pain. She slowly walked with her whilst using her to support herself.

Llela yelped in an entirely un-adventurer-like manner, as she crumpled down to the ground. Well, not that there was much that she could have done, otherwise. Gudrun was a cold [&@%!], but she knew her stuff.

She half closed her eyes, and went limp. Getting herself stabbed wouldn't help anything.

"I wish I was there to see your expression when you found our pen empty, you slushy-assed Nordic dog." She drawled, partially trying to mend her wounded pride. Her face was burning from the squeal as much as from the dagger pressed into her ribs.

[MARS]

"Oh, I'm sure you would have found it very amusing," Gudrun said. "I'd like to have some fun with your right now, but alas-" she sighed demonstratively, "this isn't the place, is it? I think I'll just tie you up for now and go see what your new band of fools is up to."

She took a piece of rope that she had strapped onto her belt, and proceeded to tie Llela's arms and legs together, as a cattle farmer would do with a young cow before the branding.

Fornar had come outside by his own, he didn't know where the others were, luckily he wasn't hurt at all, a little black from smoke however.

Valentia stumbled out after Fornar, her invisibility wearing off as she stood up.

Katien slowly tried her way outside. "W-What.." She mumbled quietly.

[Alarra]

Niralie was still holding up Psyfalia. "Let's find a spot to sit," she said. "If we're out of harm's way, we can take care of your arm."

Psyfalia nodded as she continued to cry. She didn't even dare look at her broken arm and wanted the pain to stop.

'What happened in there everyone? Is everyone ok? Azura, what happened?'

"Psyfalia's hurt," Niralie called out from where she was slowly sitting down with the older Altmer. "I don't know about anyone else."
Once they were on the ground, Niralie realized how tired she really was. Between her previous exhaustion upon her arrival into town, and the shock and exertions afterward at the guardhouse, she was ready to lay back and take a nap right then and there. That probably wasn't going to happen anytime soon. She reached into her pack and pulled out a small green bottle. Uncorking it, she took a small sip of its contents, feeling the effects of the potion as alertness and energy flowed back into her. She returned it to her pack and glanced around, looking for materials she could use to set Psyfalia's arm.

Fornar sat down. He was thinking about everyone there when suddenly he realised 'Guys, where's Llela?'

Psyfalia continued to cry due to the amount of pain she was in. Her tears were now a river flowing down her cheeks. She sat down next to Niralie and nodded. She was in too much pain to respond to Fornar and her mind was focused on her broken arm.

Arellius Afer III

Arellius gaze fixed on the trio has they made there way out of the fort, one looking especially wounded whilst the others looked but worn down - not perfect, but the odds would definitely be in his favour - and then flashed Per a grim smile.

"When I give tha'signal, attack'em," he growled softly as if addressing a dog, moving forward himself. Ebony Blade and Steel Tanto swaying menacingly as he broke into a brisk jog. Him and Per would make short work of the survivors if they resisted, he was sure, though this was counting on being able to rely on the Per Hopefully, he wouldn't have to kill the man, too. He was starting to like him.

"By Talos, You's okay?!" he called to the adventurers on approach.

Hidden:

I'm on holidays, expect sparodic posting. I just didn't want to leave my character staring across at survivors.

Unless you are metagaming no one (of the three) - and I will repeat that, no one (of the three) - should know either Per or Arellius are working for Gudrun.

Hidden:

There's actually four, maybe five out there, not just three. Valentia's out too, and I don't know about Katien.

Anyway, I've decided on Niralie's equipment, since I didn't elaborate on it so far: she wears mage's robes with the sword belt over the top. The sword is an Elven blade, not enchanted. Since she does some enchanting, she has an enchanted ring or two, but I haven't decided yet what they are or whether she's wearing any.

Valentia hasn't expressed moving towards the three, only following them out, though admittedly I did misread the Union's post. However, mine still stands, and anyway I'm not taking all that much of a risk regardless of the numbers.

He's only asking to help them.

"Psyfalia!" Valentia cried as she approached the trio, kneeling down. "How bad is it?"

[Alarra]

Niralie looked up as she heard the voice calling to her small group of companions. The speaker was a human - Imperial, she thought - and appeared to be no stranger to fights: he was scarred and carried some expensive-looking swords. He seemed to be friendly, at least; perhaps he could help her friends get out. He was on his way toward them, followed by a big Nord man.
"Mostly," she called back to him. "We were investigating the massacre on the town, and were attacked when we entered the guardhouse." She glanced apprehensively at the door. "Not everybody's out yet. I hope they're all right."
In response to Valentia's question a moment later, Niralie crawled to Psyfalia's right side and pointed out the injury. "Her forearm's broken. I've studied restoration magic, so I'm going to fix her up here while we have some time to rest. I just need to get the bone set first."

Arellius Afer III

Arellius features contorted into a deep, sullen frown upon sighting the fourth survivor, a momentary look of complete distaste that was however quickly replaced by a grin before it could be analyzed. Though, not a particularly friendly looking one. More like a sneer, really. He was no longer being favoured by the odds - four versus he and his uncertain ally - and he'd never been one to gamble. Drawing closer he sheated the Tanto.

"Attack'd. Eh," he huffed, coming to a halt. His gaze shifted between each of the four and then to Per. "Wha'd'ya say we do 'bout tha'?"

He silently waited on the man to betray him.

Psyfalia continued to cry due to the sheer amount of pain she was in and didn't notice the imperial due to her mind being focused on one thing. Her broken arm.

[Per]

"Oh, you want me to attack'em now?" Per blurted out loudly enough for the survivors to hear. "But you - oh." He realised what he's just said and only now realised that Arellius was playing them.

"Eh, I mean, uhm." He tried to smile innocently to them, while stepping up next to Arellius. "Eh, me and Arellius here can help, of course. Heh." He cleared his throat.

Arellius Afer III

Arellius didn't wait for the survivors to react, rapidly adapting to the new situation in a way that great experience would only ever allow you to. He quickly grabbed the tanto from his waist, yanking fiercely before pointing it in the direction of the Altmeri healer, his ebony blade swung aggressively to point at the Breton. Both rested inches from their targets throats.

He sneered, savagely. Gaze flashing to Dark Elf a moment before returning to the women in front of him.

"Stand down," he growled, loudly, menacingly. "Anybody moves 'n' I'll kill'm. Per, restrain tha'Darkie."

Hidden:

Valentia and Allara's character are both hunched over Dovah's character, aren't they?

Also, hope that doesn't seem Godmoddy.
