Re: KIRIN's Thunder
Sherwood thought for a moment. "I'll go in with Dick..err...Drakon. He has the yikes factor - one look at him and they'll think twice about trying anything." He replied to Viktor.
He watched the doctor as he looked about, presumably looking for a sniping location. Feeling more relaxed again, his mouth smiled slightly; this was pretty cool.
Might as well get in the role, Sherwood. What would they do in the movies? Act cool, poker face, be ready for anything.
Back in his delusion of the whole scene being set up, Sherwood confidently walked up to Paul's front door. He would wait for Viktor and the others to get into position, before ringing the doorbell.

"Keep in contact over the radio." said Viktor. He went to find a vantage point from which he could cover the back of the house.

Re: KIRIN's Thunder
The only higher location Viktor could find that he could reliably snipe from was another rooftop or the tree in the backyard. Wallflower stepped after Sherwood. "I'll.. Come with.. But I'll vanish up.."

Viktor elected to climb up onto the rooftop and cover the back entrance from there.

"Or they decide that they wish to take me and show me off as some kind of thing to amuse others. If that does happen, I will apologise in advance for any murders i commit involving them only." Dick told Sherwood whilst following him.

Re: KIRIN's Thunder
"Ok." Sherwood answered Wallflower.
"I suppose we'll soon find out." He responded to Dick with a shrug.
He held his finger just in front of the doorbell, then nodded at Wallflower as an indication that it was a good time to vanish.
Viktor was out of sight, presumably in position, and everyone else seemed ready.
With a gentle push, he rang the doorbell, his ears listening intently for movement inside.

Re: KIRIN's Thunder
Dick had a rather bad feeling about this and was ready to kill if necessary. He disliked these people from what they seem to be doing and knew that Sherwood was in for a surprise of a unkind variety but he would not be the one to tell him otherwise or try to speak with him about how wrong he could be. Just merely do his purpose. He sniffed the air to see if there was any other threats in the area.

Dick could only smell two people, Wallflower vanished, and one of them was right beside the door. It unlocked and opened. "Hello." Alessia said, opening the door wide for the supposed two of them. "Come in."

Re: KIRIN's Thunder
As Wallflower vanished, Sherwood whispered to him. "Dont forget her 'sixth sense' - she'll probably know you're there..."
As the door opened, he glanced over at Dick, before stepping into the living room that he had recently occupied in his ghost form.
Once over the threshold, he stood silently to the side of the door and waited for Dick to enter, and hopefully Wallflower too.

Maddie stood quietly several yards away from the front door of the house. She tried to make herself look as nonchalant as possible, and just observe the surroundings. I'm on the lookout for signs of trouble, she told herself. I'm being useful. She couldn't quite get herself to believe it, though.
Start the groove.

Dick entered the room. Just entered it like a normal lizard man with no drama or any action being taken. Just entering it in lizard man style.

After Dick entered, Sherwood looked at Alessia.
"So. You asked us to come here and talk. So...let's talk."
He moved towards the centre of the room and glanced around, still avoiding the sight on the floor.
"I hope this is all going to get cleaned up properly when we leave." He added as he awkwardly stared at Naz.

Re: KIRIN's Thunder
Naz simply sat down, sneering at Dick and Sherwood. Alessia left the door open. "No reason to clean up, after all tampering with a crime scene is a crime." Naz stated in a bored monotone. Alessia nodded and clapped her hands, diverting all attention to her, effectively silencing Naz for now. "Yes, let us talk." She stated, a sad look on her face as if it gave her no joy to do this. "Tell me do you know much of your friend Paul?"

Re: KIRIN's Thunder
Sherwood sat down on the sofa and looked up at Alessia. "Yes, I suppose. I know lots of little bits about him, as you do with a friend. I know where he works and I know what he does...and what he doesn't do: selling people, for example." He thought he might as well get to the point; he'd seen the papers on the floor and presumed that that was where the conversation was going.
He wondered why Alessia hadn't shut the front door. Was she expecting someone else?

Alessia gave a quiet scoff at that. "So I take it, you read the files. That's only this year." She stated, pulling out a holocard. "This is footage of him selling someone. Don't believe me still?" She looked over at Naz. "Either way Paul is one scum-bag who deserved to die." She stepped forward. "You cannot dispute information taken straight from the horse's mouth."

Let's have a look at this thing.
Sherwood took the holocard from Alessia to watch whatever footage was supposedly on there.

Re: KIRIN's Thunder
Paul was on a stage, behind him a line up, men, women, children even a baby. Some missing arms, some sitting in wheelchairs missing the knees, or even below their crotch. Some standing had blood dripping from the ragged cloths keeping their privacy suggesting they were mutilated there recently. Paul stood there, in front of these. "Next for bid PA-35." A sobbing woman her hair in knots and growing wild. "Former lawyer for a big firm, resourceful and as you can see utterly broken. Can I start the bidding at 1 million?"
A small withered hand was placed in shot for a second. "1.3 million!" Another voice called out. The bidding feeding frenzy began.

Re: KIRIN's Thunder
Sherwood initially humoured Alessia by beginning to watch the video. It was obviously going to be another attempt to further cement the idea that the story was a real event.
However, as he watched, he became increasingly unsettled. There was no mistaking it this time; that was definitely Paul on the video.
His heart began to beat faster as he saw all the people off to the side, missing limbs and other atrocities.
What...what is this? I don't like this. It looks really real. Could they have set this up? No...Paul would never agree to make a video like this - even it was all acting. But he's assisting KIRIN, right? Letting them use his house, and...
Sherwood glanced quickly over at the body on the floor - a cursory glance -then looked back to the video, where bidding had started.
He rose slowly to his feet, breathing heavily, and dropped the holocard where he stood.
"I don't like this. This is... wait a second, I just..." He paced in a daze, over to the front door and stood near the doorway.
"This is all a story though...I can't..." Suddenly he began looking frantically round the room with his eyes.
"Wallflower?! Wallflower! Get out here. You work for KIRIN - tell me what this all is! It's too much now...I want the truth! This is a set-up, right? No [&@%!] kidding - is this training or is it real?"
He eyes continued searching round, as he spoke into the air to Wallflower. His mind was awash with fear and his stomach felt sick.

Re: KIRIN's Thunder
"I do apologise for this insult but i feel it is rather neccessary." Dick told Sherwood. "You are being what some refer to as a fool. An idiot, a puta. This is real. I can tell it's real and this Paul would have been someone that i would be eager to remove from life for their nasty selling habbits. This is real. You need to face what i think, is called fads and accept it. Or if i have to, i can put you to sleep and leave whilst carrying you. I do not feel that you would be an issue and you would not be the first human that i have to carry." Dick told Sherwood and let out another deep feral growl. He fought off the urge to stab the moving images card but the other beings? Oh, they would be easy to attack if he felt like it.

Sherwood ignored Dick. He felt that the lizard-man didn't know anything about the situation; his words were little more than noise to his ears, for he was too engrossed in waiting for Wallflower to respond.

Re: KIRIN's Thunder
"Seven million!" came from the video, forgotten as Sherwood felt a hand clasp onto his shoulder. "I'm sad to say.. this is real, Sherwood.." Wallflower started, quietly coming into sight. "This is real." Alessia nodded, Naz just grinned viciously, canines exposed. "You see why, you see why he had to die." Alessia started to say. "That is why he's dead, him and the rest of the scum like them, we have granted humanity protection, and an excuse. They Deserve To Die, all enclosed in the protective eye."
Alessia stepped forward, extending a hand to Sherwood. "Do you not agree?"

Re: KIRIN's Thunder
It was intensely sobering for Sherwood to have his fears confirmed.
"So, that's...a real dead body. Paul's head..." The body had been unpleasant enough when it was thought to be just a gruesome prop, but now that he knew it was real, the blood suddenly became more red: coagulated and thick; the head more round, and the skin more pallid and dull.
Sherwood couldn't stomach it, nor the people that stared at him in the room - waiting for his response. He covered his mouth with his hand and shook his head. He just wanted to be out of this room; away from these people. He turned around and walked out of the house, where he would probably make it as far as the edge of the street's pavement, before he would sit down on the grey stonework.

Well Sherwood didn't exit the house when he went through the open door, when he went through he found himself in Paul's bathroom, at least it was nice and clean.

Re: KIRIN's Thunder
In his daze, it took a moment for Sherwood to realise that he was in the bathroom and not outside.
He stood confused for second, realised he had made a mistake, then turned around and headed towards the front door to leave.
