Dunmer here, as it should say in my signature. They make the best vamps, because of their fire resistance, which cancels out the vamp fire weakness. Argonians look most awesome, but water breathing can easily be made from enchanted items, and disease and poison don't bother vamps, do they? If I had Oblivion on PC, I'd find a way to make an Argonian with Dunmer abilities. I assume that's possible? I would have gotten the PC version but my comp is less than cutting-edge at best. Half-life 2 nearly killed it first time round, and it's still traumatised by Garry's Mod

Dumner, they're easily the coolest of the elven races. I wanted to create a character who was weird-looking but beautiful with it, so this was the best option. Also, I wanted a character who had a mixture of fighting and magical abilities, rather than one that was a pure mage or warrior - again, the best choice.

The fire resistance thing comes in handy, especially in Oblivion where the Daedra are constantly lobbing fireballs at you.
