Moderator: Tea Party Mods
Hopefully, for those of you that asked..., which you did ask..., that should be enough. I really don't want to have to fill 10 pages up, of Alllllllll of the questionable things that MHL has done as a moderator.
...but I can, and will. It will only make MHL, and those of you who think that he is, or rather, "WAS", a good moderator, look bad.
Amazingly, two of the most compelling topics, were deleted, by MHL.
Bottom line: It still does not excuse the fact that he did Unlock a topic that Bear locked, so that he could reply.

I wasn't even a mod back then jeff thats why I say slander you are going out of your way to make me look badjeff wrote:This isn't the first, but probably the most interesting. As it was actually before HML was a Moderator, which is a good example why he never..., ever, should have been a Moderator.

Several points can be taken here.
1. The two main people involved in this Discussion/Argument, were actually making valid points, niether of them were bothered by the others comments. Others members comments were actually faning the (small) flames, and not adding to the discussion.
2. It was actually the comments from others that lead to the topic being locked, not the argument iteself. This was well after the argument was over.
3. These were the replies from MHL:Now, the interesting thing, is that MHL was not even a mod then, yet felt a need to makes threats of a ban. Insane Assassin wasn't flaming, he was actually putting up a pretty good argument. MHL's replies were the ones that could have gotten someone banned...?!?wow you suck for dissing Bethesda for a minor glitch when nothing in the world is perfect including video games.
how about this, if you don't like how they made the game (get this) DON'T PLAY IT
we are attacking the insane assassin because he started making ignorant remarks about Bethesda
are your really determined to be the first person banned from the forum if so keep it up if not how about we leave it at this. Capeesh?
4. So it goes from "Attacking" Insane Assassin, to this:It wasn't just me though:I am trying to mediate the situation as best I can I would like this forum to stay a clean informative tool rather than some chat-room with immature arguments on it.How about one more:Bear wrote:Most Honored Listener wrote:wow you suck for dissing Bethesda for a minor glitch when nothing in the world is perfect including video games.
to thisHmmm, interesting. Most Honored Listener wrote:I am trying to mediate the situation as best I can I would like this forum to stay a clean informative tool rather than some chat-room with immature arguments on it.The really sad part here, is that Paladin Warrior, and Insane Assassin, both had alot more to give to this Board than MHL ever could hope too. Niether post here anymore.Daedricmudcrab wrote:Ya most honored listener. Try to play the nice guy. You and palladin were beating up assassin! And now your trying to act like some goody little two shoes.
This is just one, of many topics that MHL played the same game in. He actually started arguments, to then come back, and make it appear that he was helping to moderate the situation. This isn't just my opinion, as you can see that others caught on to it as well.
and just so you know I DIDN'T Ban anybody all the banning was done by Bear and Bear alone which to my knowledge was only 1 person.

I don't have to make you look bad, you do that well enough on your own. If you knew what was in your best intrest, you would just let it go. You are only going to continue to make yourself look bad.
It is not slander, as I am posting links, to prove that what I have said is the truth, and factual. The links also show that it was not just me, but several others who think the same.
I do believe that I stated that from the beginning on that specific topic.
As I also stated here:

As I also stated here:
The real sad thing, is because of your abuse of your privledges, and poor moderating ability, two members actually asked to be banned...Shortly after this, Elzar was banned. Not by MHL, but Bear. Elzar actually asked to be banned, as did another member (who did stay around).
Just for the record:
1. You did not unlock the topic to reply.
2. You do admit to Replying to the Topic, after Bear Locked it. Which is just as bad, either way.
Just the fact that you can not admit to your wrong doing, or even worse, the fact that you do not understand what you did was wrong, is proof that you should not be a Moderator.
All right then, we shall give you the benifit of the doubt here. Most Honored Listener wrote:actually mods can add posts to locked topics Without unlocking them. just FYIjeff wrote:

but, obviously, we can't just not fight, and if we must fight, then I must point this out:

if that was Elzar's legacy, was he really that much of a loss?

I agree, we should just let it go. Isn't it ironic though, in order to say let it go, you are continuing it...
...but to answer your question: No, it was not that much of a loss. However, that was not the point I was making either.
There is a difference here. When others point out that I have made a mistake, I admit to said mistake, appologize, and even thank them for pointing it out.
MHL has yet to admit to the Several mistakes, or even that he was sorry for his actions.
MHL could have possibly gotten his Moderator Privledges back, if he would just admit to being wrong, and appologize, then show that he has learned from his mistakes.
Those of you who are continuing to "Crusade" for a loosing Cause, are only making things worse for MHL.
It was in Total Bad Taste, to even start this Topic, and Poll. It was Extreemly Disrespectful to the Administrators and Moderators of this Forum, who all made the Decision to Take MHL's Moderating Privledges away.

You know I can not Agree to that...
...but seriously, it is not really my call. It is actually dependant on the others.
...and to Lord Sheo: I was never a part of this. From the beginning, I tried to stay out of this. I tried to let it go as long as possible. I did not get involved until the integrity of the Administrators & Moderators were Questioned.

Jeff? what do you want to do now? MHL has lost his mod function an i don't think anyone will give it back to him. MHL's good name is gone. And 75% (a raw estemation) (?) doesn't wan't to get involved anymore. Is there anymore left to destroy on this forum?
MHL? I don't blame you much but there were "some" overreacting posts on your side. It isn't gonna do anything good if you reply to every bad thing that is said about you.
This topic is started with a purpouse (MHL 4 moditor) and ended quite F***** up (MHL vs the rest). Just locking it up is only gonna make it worse. So I want to ask jeff nicely stopping to proof MHL was a bad moditor. I think you made your point.

will whoever started the poll please change MHS to MHL, these things drive me insane.
edit: kind of off topic, but I've always thought this should be mentioned as an example of how not to welcome a new member - http://www.uesp.net/phpbb/viewtopic.php?t=1750

Being a moderator is not a popularity contest. You do not become a moderator by being here the longest, or having the most posts. Nodody has a "Right" to be a moderator.Crusader wrote:but really, i started this poll because as a community we should all have a say on it (MHL/S title)
Being a moderator is a (volunteer) job. It is a responsibility, and a priveledge.
1.) It is a responsibility to the board/site owner(s), and administrator(s), to help run/maintain the board.
2.) It is a priviledge, in that if you fail to perform, or abuse those priviledges, you can loose those pribiledges.
The only ones who have a say in it, is the Board/Site Owner(s)/Moderator(s). Once you start playing to run and maintain the Board/Site, then you can have a say in it.
