Yuuki

The sudden disorientation shook her from her threat. And rather than display any aggression, muted or not, she gave a cold sigh and holstered her gun

Gabrièl

Gabrièl watched the exchange, frozen to his seat. There was nothing moving him to get between the two armed people who had known for all of ten minutes. Needless to say, this kind of instability was quite distressing, though their contact seemed more than capable of dealing with the conflict. A subdued, yet sharp exhale signaled his relaxation as the strangely uncommunicative woman holstered her gun. It would be a charm working with these people, he was sure.

Cipher wasn't phased by the woman and was used to people trying to kill him. He moved his foot back a bit before a foul noise flooded his ears. "DARGH!" He stumbled backwards and pointed the sawnoff at the ninja. "I am calm." He informed Rose with clenched teeth whilst glaring at the ninja. "I will ignore the fact that you tried to do that, for the sake of the mission." He told her as he holstered the gun. He knew she could be a threat to the mission and so far, no-one knew he was recording their every move. "But pull that [&@%!] again and I will defend myself." He warned her. He had a few tricks up his sleeve. "Now, provided it doesn't attack me again, I was scanning the area for any external security measures." He told the group. "But if there are any, they would have caught our little display."

"Are you all done now?" Gabriel called out exasperatedly, almost annoyed. He was looking up at them both with an expression that showed a lack of understanding for their behavior. He supposed that these kinds of people were the ones who got hired for jobs like this.

She didn't even bat an eye at Cipher, not even when he displayed some return of a threat. She stepped away from the door of the van so that others could easily disembark with plenty of room, a nonverbal answer to the doctor's question. Other than that, she kept a clear vigil as always

Tejón didn't comment on the outburst which had taken place, but that didn't mean he approved of it, he hated working with loose cannons. It's this sort of thing that gets fireteams killed. He got of his seat and unbuttoned his coat, revealing a black kevlar vest and brown leather handgun holster underneath. There was a six-shot .357 revolver in the holster, an older firearm, likely a sign of personal preference than sheer efficiency. He picked up the attache case containing Tucán in his left hand and stepped out of the vehicle.

Toro had been ordered to follow his creator and as such the drone came out after him.

"Good". That was a snarl: crisis averted Rose momentarily lapsed into anger and disapproval. "And fortunately I'm not picking up any traffic leaving the laboratory which might suggest our cover's blown." But with her next statement a greater professionalism returned to her tone - her breathing taking on a more measured direction to match.

Looking forward and toward the building Cipher could see that a camera was pointed at the loading-bay entrance. However the Internal had seemed unfazed as she waited beneath it's gaze - 'had', he'd realize, as a look of concern had been drafted onto her features as she'd witnessed the encounter between the berserker and the assassin.

Standing there, outside of the van she resumed her calm composure, even placing a hand upon her hip. She didn't offer any words of defense against their early scorn, she didn't seem like one to care anyways, so long as their mission was a success.

She casually took a look back at those still in the van, the doctor and final specialist. She gestured with her head, suggesting they should get moving. She didn't seem like she was going to pull a weapon on either of them too, for what it's worth

ren

Ren looked on at the debacle that had just unfolded in front, her hand instinctively drawn to to the shotgun strap pressed against her chest. Exasperation hung from her face. She couldn’t help but already start to lose faith in this team - reminded once again of why she preferred to work alone. If that moment’s conflict was any indication of broader mentalities, she couldn’t help but find herself worried at the thought of continuing the mission. But she needing this as much as anyone she kept her mouth shut, the confrontation passing without her input, before striding out of the van and toward the Internal.

Not a word was shot back, the message was obvious.

The moment Ren passed and proceeded to their first objective, the assassin chose to follow shortly behind, passing one last glance at Tejón just as she turned

Striding closer, their Internal came into sharper focus. The short, unassuming black women had her eyebrows furrowed in a look of impatience, though her eyes themselves still twitched with concern between Yuugi and Cipher. “Kam.” Her accent was thick and, to those familiar with the nuances of West African enunciation, obviously Sierra Leonese. As if that wasn’t clear enough, she offered a sharp twitch of her head by means of invitation forward.

She wore overalls - though the bulge which pressed from behind them suggested to the trained eye that kevlar remained on beneath. These were a dull orange and their logo was of a dolphin jumping out of a soap bucket. The hood was pulled up over her hijab. A shotgun rested inside the cart she'd wheeled out, it's nose had a silencer attached and poked just out behind the covers of plastic bin bags. More off-putting might have been the thin smear of blood which rose up her left cheek. There was a thick silence before she spoke again. “Ee gat mo klos insait.” She gestured to her own clothes, the overalls, and then struck her head in the direction of the building. “Insait.” Pause: "Nau, Shhhhh" - her gaze seemed to linger again on Yuugi and Cipher.

She'd wait for questions, and if there was none, she'd turn and begin to lead them inside.

Cipher

Having noticed the camera, Cipher made a note of it. "It is wise to wipe their CCTV footage if we get a chance to." He remarked as he waited for the rest to leave the van. He was fond of his trenchcoat and elected to keep it on until he felt it was time to remove it. He looked at the contact and spotted the tell tale sign of her vest. "Oh for [&@%!]'s sake." He remarked as the woman spoke. He spotted the thin smear of blood and assumed that she had murdered someone. He would move inside with the rest whilst keeping alert and would automatically switch off his night vision mode if it wasn't dark.

Tejón didn't immediately grasp the entirety of what the woman was saying, he definitely got most of it but in truth he just assumed she had an incredibly thick accent, not that she was speaking pidgin and was too polite to ask her to repeat herself.

"Umm... yes." said Tejón with some noticeable hesitation in his voice. He stepped inside with Toro tagging along behind.

Ren looked up towards the CCTV that Cipher was talking about. "I can erase that, their security systems shouldn't be a challenge to get through" she said matter-of-factly. "Obviously once we're inside though and hopefully managed to not get killed, of course" she said, almost sarcastically. Her faith in this team was not exactly high so far.

The Internal seemed to shrug off Cipher's expletive. Though her eyebrows did arch slightly in some recognition, she rather turned and began to move inside the building. The loading bay itself was contained with the constant whir of movement - machine-pickers, picked product from the shelves, that product was passed to machine-loaders, who packed the product into crates, before other, larger machines, transferred that onto the back of autonomous trucks - which would, by law, need to be driven out to the highway by a human driver in the morning. There seemed to be no supervisor - but then who actually worked in warehousing anymore.

The bodies of the trucks covered them from view of any of the other entrances when they entered. Stepping in, the Internal pointed into the upper-left corner. "Dei security stesin." Her hands then rose to make it look like she was holding a machine gun. Looking between the trucks the group could see that a window looked out onto the loading bay - though they could not see inside from their angle, it seemed to be where the Internal was pointing. But she didn't allow them to linger on the sight for long, cutting to the direct right of the entrance and leading them into a smaller office space. Dominated by a single oak desk, the tag on it read: Rui Baccarin, Senior Vice President, Logistics. However, that might not have been what drew their attention.

One guard lay sprawled out on the ground, her blood drying into the carpet. Her neck had, for all intents and purposes, exploded when it took the shotgun round, leaving her in a state of near-decapitation. Her arms had dropped the submachine she had seemed to manage to draw during the encounter, to the ground. The Internal glanced back, as if checking for reactions, before stepping around the downed women and toward the table. "Security bai lukluk soon - faiv minit maybe." In a bid to clear up that message she pointed to the guards walkie-talkie. "So we mas hariap."

She reached to turn the computer screen around to them. It was already logged in - no hacking required. The screen she was on asked her whereabouts in the building she would like to book a meeting room. It doubled as a map for the ground floor. She pointed to a room in the extreme-most down-right corner. That's where they were. She then trailed it back into the large room adjacent to it - the loading bay. Her hand next pointed to a door in the upper-right hand corner of the loading bay. The entrance to the security hub. Notably from the map it could be seen that through the security hub was the only way out of this side of the building and through to reception - reception hosted the elevator they would need to ride to the fourth floor offices.

However, confrontation might not be necessary. The Internal next pointed to a second elevator in the top right corner of the building; some sort of security elevator. They could get there without needing pass through the security room - however, getting into the back offices it was located beside would require they passed it's window, and navigated the front-end development department, which may or may not have had guards of their own.

She didn't offer any indication of which path she thought was safer. That was their job to figure out.

I have a map which I am going to include when I get home if yous can't figure out the layout by then. But the decision is either: fight through the security hub, or go around it. The actual geography isn't too important once you've figured that bit out.

"Hmm, I'll take either but I'd rather not come back down here knowing there's a room full of guards waiting for us. I can't see us being quiet up top." said Tejón, his eyes lingered on Cipher for a second. "So take them now and none of us have to deal with a pain in the neck on the way out." He nodded in the direction of the guard their internal had killed and smiled.

The Cipher - The Hard Way or Easy Way?

"Nice shot." Cipher stepped over the dead body without caring about it. "[&@%!] of guards are bound to be there and taking them out is a good idea." He looked at Tréjo. "It is a potential risky affair as it takes only one to activate an alarm then instead of just a room full of guards, we have an entire building to contend with." He looked at map and studied it. "Map's taken care of." He informed the rest of the team. "If it were just me, I would bypass the station and avoid confrontation but our number can hinder that. However, if there were a big distraction, it would save us ammo, time and the risk of alerting everyone." He looked at Tréjo and hoped he was as good as he claimed to be. "Tréjo hacks the alarm system, disables it, we kill every [&@%!] in the station, lock it down and then move up. Or we fight [&@%!] fast to wipe them out. However, if they have cameras inside, that will [&@%!] our plans up either way." He elected to stop to give everyone a chance to voice their thoughts on it.

You guys are located at the red point. SecHub is the security hub. You are hoping to pass through Front-end development and head through to the stairs at the back, or pass through SecHub and head up the stairs in reception. Except by stairs I mean lift, but there's no easy-to-slot-in symbol for lift so the stairs symbol will have to do. The map is kinda-sorta to scale - in other words, try not to base your plan off the scales offered here. I'm terrible at imposing images that are in my head (except, fun fact, they aren't) on paper.

Oni

She followed closely and quietly as they made their way through, a persistent calm to shadow mother's. It wasn't that she wasn't being vigil, just that one could easily mistaken this as a casual walk through a park for her, even passing by the corpse no different than a subtle stream.

Watching the others decide a course of action, not one really to weigh in herself, but when it became clear, she took a few steps forward to the informant and pointed at the screen "Are there any vents between us and them" she said in a mellow tone. Hinting that if security needed to be eliminated, that would be a viable option

There was no sound from the Internal for the first few moments. Then, with sudden realisation, she reached across toward the map, her finger pointing to the room in the bottom left corner of the map.

She barely even blinked in her muted silence, before and after the Internal spoke. She just calming walked over to one of Tejón's, and quickly bent both knees as she balanced on her feet like some child. Quietly she leveled a hand above Toro, then to herself, then once more. "Still too small?" She said, with a dull and unassuming expression

Toro turned towards Oni and let out a chirp as she crouched down next to him. "I think he likes you. But his brother might be better in the vents." said Tejón, he held up the attache case which contained the helicopter drone.

Standing up, she didn't seem to respond to the chirping or comment, instead she walked beside Tejon and gently tugged at his sleeve with her small hand in a bid to gain his undivided attention. Pointing at the case, then calmly at the monitor "It can scout then? Quietly? Up till the Security hub?"

Cipher - Planning

"Provided that they haven't thought of that and set up measures inside the vents." Cipher looked at the map again whilst stroking his beard. "If they are dumb enough to have not covered that, we can bypass the hub entirely." He pointed at the room in front of reception. "I can smash through it if it's not reinforced. It will likely alert them but if we are going to do it the hard way, then [&@%!] it." He studied it and ensured that every single detail was covered by his eyes for future use.

"Using the same assumption, I smash a hole in the wall to flank them." He pointed the wall in the Front Development and was the rear of the hub. "Using the other entrances, we can undertake a pincer movement and overwhelm them."
