Physical Description: Baruch is of medium height and has dark short hair and a short beard. He is of sephardic Jewish descent, he has a darker skin tone much like the people of North Africa and wears glasses. What he lacks in strength he makes up for in intelligence. ( It should be noted he wears religious Jewish garb: Kippah & tzitzit)

Backstory: Baruch Calev was born in 1994 in Ariel, Israel to his parents Chaim and Avital Calev. He was raised in a middle-class family and was educated at a private school. Here he learned Arabic and English (he is fluent in these languages; his native language is Hebrew). Baruch's parents raised him in a secular Jewish household, but Baruch, unlike his parents is very religous. Baruch is a only child, growing up he did not have many friends this lead to him being very anti-social. He spends most of his time alone reading and writing. In Israel when you turn 18 you are automaticaly conscripted into the military. Baruch feared the day of his conscription greatly, his fear of joining the military forced him to run away from his family and escape to the united states to start a new life. Upon his arrival to the US he stumbles upon Hope Falls.

Relations: Father: Chaim Calev, Mother: Avital Calev, no other relatives.
Profession: None. Will take whatever work he can get to get by. Also it should be noted he is technically an illegal immigrant due to the fact he will not be returning to Israel any time soon. and can only take jobs that pay under the counter.
Hobbies: Reading, writing, fishing
Inventory: Backpack, Israeli passport, pocket knife, prepaid cellphone; arrives in Hope Falls wearing dress pants and shirt,traditional Jewish garb, $236.47 cash.

Physical description: Jeff has a medium build, with short black hair that is combed forward. He has brown eyes that aren't too outstanding. He is clean shaven, and not too muscular.
Backstory: Jeff was born in Augusta, Maine to a father, mother, and a brother. His father and mother were very wealthy, but made sure to give Jeff and his brother an average upbringing. His brother ended up becoming a successful business man, following in his fathers footsteps. His mother frequently went caving before she had children, and noticing Jeff's interest, decided to buy him equipment so he could do so one day. Jeff however, did not end up as well off. He lived with his parents, and eventually found a job at a hotel. After a few months of working, he had enough money to take a vacation, so hearing of the numerous caves along the coast of Hope Falls, decided it would be his next destination.
Relations (is any other player character in the RP related to you?): None.
Profession (what does your character do for a living?): Jeff used to work at the front desk for hotel he worked at back in Augusta, Maine. He is on vacation in Hope Falls.
Hobbies: Caving, jogging, and mainly anything to do with getting outside.
Desired inventory (you are not guaranteed to get everything you ask for): Carabiner, headlamp, Rope, Safety helmet, Hand ascender, phone, change of clothes. $150.

Honestly I'm not looking over these sheets very intently right now. I'm still two or three weeks from starting (I need to send Eltee my thoughts as well), so I'll start approving in the net week or so. As long as your character isn't awesome at everything and has a personality I'll probably accept you.

Ancestry: Scottish/English desecnt, Family moved to American Colonies early 1600's

Physical description: Massive, 7 foot tall and very muscular and could overpower most people, when in a crowd he towers over most and could be seen from anywhere. Medium length black hair that reaches his collar, Stubble and a hairy body. His face is like the second one in the top row of this picture

Backstory:
Born in North Dakota into a normal home; Working father, Stay at home mother, Younger sister. Logan grew up happy for the first few years of his life, Early on it was discovered that he has a condition called Hyperthymesia which allowed him to recall past events in his life perfectly.
Once he started school it was harder for him, he didn't make any friends and wasn't very attentive at school, even at a young age he began skipping lessons only to be found outside in very obscure places, Slowly it became harder and harder to find him until he would dissappear for days. Days became weeks and at its worst he dissappered for over a month. He stopped returning home at the age of 17 and began living in rented flats, hotels and homeless shelters all over the country, never staying in one place for to long, this behaviour continued into his adult life it was during this time that Logan worked as a labourer and gained his large body size
In the later half of his life he took to wood carving, making things like animals, buildings and people who's path he has crossed. Some have said that these should be put in muesems because of thier quality

Relations: None, most likely not going to accept any.

Profession: Laborer, any trade he can find. He does have skills in most trades including plumbing, Electrictrician and builder but isn't qualified in any of them. Carpentry is his greatest skill.

Hobbies: Wood Carving and wood working in general (The only thing in his life that mattered to him)

Desired inventory:
Bag - (Carving set, wood knife, Small mallet, multiple wood finishes, oils etc and Various carvings he makes)
Suitcase - (weeks worth of clothes including long brown trench with a waterproof inside and large collar. Hygiene supplies(toothbrush etc))
Wallet - ($125 USD, Drivers license, Social sercurity card, Debit card, assorted business cards from handymen and other tradesmen), Money in bank($968 USD)

I cannot stress enough how important having relationships with other players will be. They don't have to be pre-existing relationships like a few players I know are doing, but getting to know another character will make the RP much more fun for everyone.

I've already made Séverine with the intention of her being a friendly character (or about as friendly as one of my character's are ever going to get) so I'm sure that she'll have loads of relationships fun.

If anyone wants to have known Séverine from before Hopes Fall feel free to PM me. Though looking through the characters the only other Canadian is P-sto's character so that's probably the only one she could have known.

That's fine, but know that I won't always be on, so you may be stuck with nothing to do until I respond. Pairing (or grouping) up with someone will give you a way to keep playing and develop your character without me.
