Re: Skyrim; Dragon Language Translation Thread
I wonder how popular this language is. I've started a Facebook page and a Youtube channel in hopes of getting more attention to it. I feel that if it became popular enough, the creator Emil Pagliarulo or someone else Bethesda could hire who is an expert in linguistics and has sufficient knowledge on the current state of the language would add and/or complete the language. That is my long-term goal at least. Thinking short-term, I just want to master the language in its current form and be able to understand and communicate with other dedicated fans of the language.

Maybe their language is complete, from their point of view.
It was mentioned several times throughout the main quest that language is intrinsic to Dragons. They're created fully literate. Perhaps theirs is a simple language which requires fewer words than ours, because they can read more meaning into those words than humans would.

Monsters are bred in labyrinths, labyrinths are bred from walls. There is a reason the Giants choose to remain nomadic rather than follow their shield kin the Nords in building permanent settlements. The Tower is the beginning of all walls.

Re: Skyrim; Dragon Language Translation Thread
True. Maybe dragons just don't need to say certain words to eachother because they have other ways of doing it. Like their "greetings" which is Drem Yol Lok (Peace Fire Sky) instead of one word for it. Realizing that gives me some comfort then because it does seem that some words are combined to make others like Qethsegul for Stone when it means "bone of the earth" and if it is true then i would love to see how creative people can get with word creation.
