Discussion thread!

[Cactus]

I could do all three, I'll pretend it's one of my online class requirements.

DO IT

[Reaper67]

I think I'll just do the avatar in the av/sig competition. The sig is just too restricted for me.

[Dragour]

I reckon we should have small competitions like this monthly! And a big one yearly! Like for a monthly one a short story can be about 1000-2000 words while a yearly one can be around 5000 words+

[Reaper67]

I'm perfectly happy with the anniversary blow out. Monthly comps could be fun too, I guess.

[Vivec's Tears]

There wouldn't be enough figgie pudding!

[Reaper67]

You're right! We can't have that!

[Dogmantra]

Get cracking guys! We only have one entry for the art competition, one signature for the signature thingy and two avatars.

We don't want people to win be default!

[ace62394]

How many entries are there for writing? I think Kestral submitted something...

[Dogmantra]

Five, I think. We've got three stories, a poem and an essay.

[Reaper67]

I'm happy with the two things I've submitted. I don't need to add to the slurry of what is the writing competition.

[r]

Five, I think. We've got three stories, a poem and an essay.

Is the essay mine? I would have appreciated a receipt when I PMed my entry to you, Cactus...

[Cactus]

Sorry. I've been busy everyone.
Everyone who has PMed me I've added your stuff to the competition. If your PM got sent to the sentbox instead of the outbox, it's good.

Sorry.

[Cactus]

U GUIZ!!!

There's only two days left in the competition! PLEASE PM me your entries as soon as possible. If there's any question of whether yours was accepted (I know.. I'm sorry about not responding) PM me or post here and I'll confirm we got it. If you sent it already and I screwed up, I'll make the really obvious exception and let you turn yours in late.

Don't forget, you can turn in entries in ALL THREE categories, you're not limited to one!! TWO DAYS!! DO IT!! NAO!!

[Reaper67]

I'm sure that my two entries are in, but just to cross my "Is" and dot my "Ts", do you have mine in? There's an avatar and an art entry.

[Cactus]

Avatar? What? When did you do that?

No, I'm kidding!
I've got them both, yes!

[Reaper67]

Am I still the only one for avatar and art? I wouldn't mind winning by default, but competition is always fun.

[Cactus]

Yknow what, I'll just do it like this. Hope no one minds:

• • Art

Reaper
Ace
Yeepo

• • Writing

masser
Dragour
Vivec's Tears
urthdigger
r

• • Avatars and/or Signatures

Nyk (x2)
Vivec's Tears (x1)
Reaper (x1)
JamesF14 (x2)

If there's anything missing from the list, I apologise, and PLEASE send it again.
If more of you show interest, I may extend the deadline, but otherwise the day after tomorrow is the LAST day to turn them in. If you want to compete, please do so. I know we have some talented people here, I've seen your stuff in the Creative bbqpwnzor thread, so bring it on!! DO IT!

[r]

Will all the entries be published anywhere? Perhaps as a page on the wiki or something? I presume the winning entries will be, but in the event that I don't win because no-one can understand what I've written about, someone wrote a Dark Brotherhood fanfic that's actually quite enjoyable to read or Vivec's Tears got her knockers out for the judges I'd still like some feedback from the good people of UESP on my entry.

[Codex]

We will not publish all works here, only the winning ones. Anyone may publish their work for themselves afterwards, in a special thread we will create later.

[Reaper67]

Oh, so I do have competition. We'll see who's entries are liked best, I suppose.

[ace62394]

Don't be surprised if I lose

[Reaper67]

Well, with an attitude like that you're not likely to.

[ace62394]

So, are the judges judging?

[Dragour]

So, are the judges judging?

ace keep your pants on the judges do have busy lives you know, can't just expect them to keep to a schedule everytime

[Reaper67]

I figure they'll have their votes cast and the winner decided by tomorrow.
