Doctor Who - A Wound in Time

[Kerr]

Theta also grabbed a pole. "This better be good." said Theta.

The Doctor gripped onto another pipe and aimed his Screwdriver at some bolts. He activated it. The bolt flew off, and then another one. Suddenly, there was a groaning sound as a large section of the ship fell about ten metres.

[Kerr]

"You'll be the death of me Doctor." said Theta.

[POMC S117]

"Yeah..." he scratched his head, "Just one problem. The bridge is that way." he pointed at the part of the ship that he had just forced to collapse.

[Kerr]

Theta sighed. "You make this all up as you go along don't you?" asked Theta.

[POMC S117]

The two parts of the skiff began to slide down the valley, towards each other. "Hold on!" yelled the Doctor, as the pieces collided, sending a fireball up in the air.

[Kerr]

"So....." muttered Theta. "We should keep moving."

[POMC S117]

And they did just that. They marched through the dead, cold interior of the damaged skiff. The lights flickered, undecided on whether they should turn off to conserve power or stay on and give light. They reached the door that lead to the bridge. It was made of thick, impenetrable steel. A small control panel was beside it, displaying red letters that read: DOOR LOCKED.

He tried to open it with his Sonic Screwdriver but it turned out that it was guarded by a deadlock seal.

"It's not going to open! We'll need to cut through it! Theta, I saw a Repair Room a few corridors back. Go and check for some laser cutters."

[Kerr]

Theta went back to look for the cutters in question.

The room was filled with junk. Pieces of scrap, fusion scoop engine parts and apparatuses were strewn across the metal floor. On a table, restrained and damaged, was a cyborg. It had lost its legs and wiring was poking from the holes.

[Kerr]

Theta tried to ignore the cyborg while looking for the laser cutters.

The laser cutters were in the cyborg's hands, gripped lightly by the metallic fingers.

[Kerr]

I'm not that stupid. Theta left the room. "Hey Doctor, a cyborg has the cutters in its hand. Can't tell if it alive or not. I need help getting them." said Theta.

[POMC S117]

They re-entered the room.

"Was it like this when you came here?" asked the Doctor, commenting on the damage.

[Kerr]

"Yes." said Theta. She pointed at the Cyborg with the cutters in hand. "Not sure if that was intentional or not."

[POMC S117]

He walked over and scanned it, "Hmmm.... The main control centre - its equivalent of a brain - hasn't been damaged. Pass me that spannerthingymijigy."

[Kerr]

Theta picked up a nearby spanner and threw it over to him.

[POMC S117]

He caught it expertly and then turned to the cyborg. He suddenly began to bash it furiously with the spanner.

"It's dead now."

[Kerr]

"Good." said Theta. She reached down to grab the laser cutters.

[POMC S117]

The cyborg's head slowly began to turn to face Theta.

[Kerr]

Theta moved away from the cyborg and backed up against the wall. "Can you actually kill it?" Theta asked.

[POMC S117]

The Doctor was laughing.

[Kerr]

"How does anyone ever put up with you?" asked Theta.
