Re: Post Your Character
Here's my most recent character:
Mirah
Race: Female Breton
Birthsign: The Lady
Class: Assassin
Level: 1
Major Skill Levels:
Blade - 58
Alchemy - 62
Acrobatics - 61
Light Armor - 61
Marksman - 62
Security - 59
Sneak - 100
Highest Minor Skill:
Destruction - 62
Factions:
Arena - Grand Champion
Dark Brotherhood - Listener
Thieves Guild - Master Thief
Mages Guild - Master-Wizard
Fighters Guild - Champion
Main Quest - Champion of Cyrodiil
Court of Madness - Defender of the Realm
Fame: 114
Infamy: 46
I've hit some sort of glitch that's preventing me from starting the last quest in the Thieves Guild. The Gray Fox is just hanging out at Ganredhel's house in Cheydinhal, even though I've completed the Boots of Springheel Jak quest. I think maybe the game is waiting for Ganredhel to re-enter the house, but I had found her dead in the streets before I ever joined the Thieves Guild.
I'm still working on the other unfinished factions.

Re: Post Your Character
that is pretyt impressive as a level 1 character, and im not sure, but the thieves guild questline might be broken for you. try waiting for 24 hours in the talos plaza district. or, maybe there's a way with the console if your on the PC
i think all of those unique blunts suck, they just dont ahve the damage factor. ic ant get the mace of molag bal, im not level 17. i do like the volendrung though, but i dont like refilling it alot of the time, and again, it doesnt have too great of a damage factor compared to my other weapons.Josjie wrote:Mace of Molag Bal

Re: Post Your Character
Posting here mostly to show off my character design. I'm really proud of how she's turned out. Thanks to Wrye Bash, I can edit her face anytime after the sewers, which I have done at least four or five times. I can't say for sure if she's finalized now, but darned if she doesn't look good.
Armelias1
Armelias2
To follow the standard format, though, she's a mage (custom class Banisher), with conjuration, mysticism, destruction, restoration, alteration, acrobatics, and speechcraft. Governing attributes are intelligence and willpower, and she's now level 22. Birthsign is the Ritual, although a mod has made its effects vastly different from the original. Acrobatics used to be for the unarmored skill added by a mod, but it started to feel imbalanced and I removed that, though it's still good to avoid staggers and stumbles. Speechcraft is because yet another mod has made speechcraft difficult, and I like to have people like me
Illusion's for sneaks (wretched thieves!) and alchemy is dabbled in, but didn't want to mess with poisons so left it out.
She's famous for closing Oblivion gates and a modest rank in the mages guild, and infamous for... I dunno, maybe attacking an ally on accident, but she's got 1 infamy for some unknown crime

Re: Post Your Character
Pretty cool character. Wish I had pictures to show, my character is pretty sweet even though I'm playing on a 360...
It seems a lot of people like to make custom classes. I usually just go with whatever Baurus thinks my character is, but it doesn't really matter if I never level up.

Re: Post Your Character
Well if you do plan to bring your character up into the high levels, a default class can really be a detriment. Especially if it's the one given by Baurus, as, at least for me, the criteria for Baurus' view of your character class is pretty odd. I've snuck through the whole tutorial and been recommended a barbarian, and have barbarianed my whole way through to be recommended a sorcerer. Plus I like to name my custom classes

my fifth major character. the others, 30 dunmer archer (a prototype to this guy), 25 female khajiit rogue, 14 breton mage, and 18 bosmer archer. both the dunmer and the female khajiit were max position in all the quest arcs including the SI & Knights of the Nine. This guy has Main Quest, Mages Guild, Thieves Guild, and DB so far. the majority of my gameplay was spent, obviously, doing Efficient Leveling. I didnt go ALL the way with it tho... i was too lax in a few areas... kinda left luck and personality alone. i made him a khajiit cuz i wanted a vampire but i play the ps3 version so i could never undo it! thus i picked a race that doesnt show the horrors of vampire aging. plus i love kitties. i stop leveling at 30. my own personal level cap. im already getting bored with him though! XD after ALL that work. the vampirism helps immersion, i think, by forcing you to feed or BURN. i used to buy white horses to ride to cities on but 1. somehow they freaking die within 3 days of buying em 2. he can run faster. i dun like shadowmere. too purple. >:
normally this char uses a daedric bow with lightning dmg enchant, and wears 1 Jeweled Necklace, 2 Gold Rings, 1 Black Hood, 1 Dark Shirt, 1 Black Wide Pants (i think theyre called), glass shield, the wrist shackles, & sandals all with Fire Shield 9%. he ends up having 81 armor and 81 resist to fire XD

Always in your face with a Two-Handed Axe, lots of power attacks, and Restoration status buffs/absorptions.Add in a poison bottle for a particularly rough fight, throws out AoE Frenzy spells when things get too crowded. Also fond of taming big creatures like Minotaurs,Ogre's, and Daedroth's and keeping them as pets for as long as possible...until they inevitably need to be put down of course. His fighting style can be said to be something like a cross between a Druid and a Berserker. Often makes use of superior agility to control foe's advances and his trademark "Battle Ready" series of spells keep his fatigue up throughout a fight, ensuring his power attacks never lose their oomph and his "Thorn" spells make melee foes regret ever seeing him....If they can get through his Barrier spell and armor that is.
Note-Helios was played 'normally' No artificial level'ing, skill grinding,'holding' levels, or things like that. When I made him I wanted to put my abilities to the test in keeping up with the game's progression as I naturally level, so his major skills were chosen in such a way to ensure I progressed naturally as I played without ever having to stop and go train one skill for awhile to level. He worked out surprisingly well, even when he hit the rough patch where his gear was quite a bit below what I should've been using(My own neglect) He was able to overcome with raw power. I have other characters more meticulously planned and setup, but he's my favorite, just because he was played naturally and despite his lack of optimization I've only died twice both times due to not paying attention more so than being overpowered.

Re: Post Your Character
Just so everyone knows I have way too much time on my hands for video games.
Jerith
Nord Custom Class(never came up with a name, considered War Priest) Level 42
Sign: Warrior
Main Attributes: Strength and Endurance
Skills: Armorer, Block, Blunt(I like axes...), Heavy Armor, Alchemy(for quick level ups and space filler), Restoration( Legendary Respite*angelic chorus*), Marksman
Jerith existed much of his life as an adventurer's who's name was never known. While it was in his mind to serve the nine, and to attain fame to better spread the word of Good and Justice he needed to be stronger(specifically level 30 for best rewards =p). When he found himself unmatched he began his rightous quest. First he entered the realm of madness, quickly moving into the Mad God's favor. After attaining the power of a God he returned to his own realm, ready to use such strength to his advantage. He was clad in armor forged of Madness and wielded an ebon axe taken from the strongest foe he'd ever find, his inner darkness. After slaying Umaril he returned the crusader relics to their rightful home, believing no mortal pure enough for their use. After such adventures he moved onto the arena, seeing it as a way to amass fame and riches so he may travel the land all knowing him as the beacon of all that was right. After assuming dominence of the Fighters and Mages guild, along with whispered rumors of removing one of the infamous speakers from existance he set his eyes upon the Deadric Gods. He understood the corruptive power they had, for he himself held a fraction. With that in mind he set out to gather their artificats so that he may watch over them. After their collection he turned his attention to the weakened goverment. After closing the gate to kvatch and taking the city back from its Deadric destroyers Jerith stared upon the ruined gate, forever it would mar this land, he thought. So he set off to travel the land and close more of these "gates" so they may not spill their evil upon the beautiful country sides that he spent his youthful years traveling. With each gate he found a powerful stone, and imbued them to his armor. When all from boots to helm were laced with powrful magic he became unstoppable(yay 100% resist magic =D). He now travels the land as a rightous fist of his Gods, rooting out the Mythic Dawn cult.
A palladin in all respects I even use some of the Code of Conducts from my other nerdy habit for play style. He will not use a poison, as to kill someone with it is to corrupt them in their last moments. Nor will he loot through the coffins or graves of the dead, as they have already left this harsh world and need not be bothered with it again. He will never assault one without showing himself in clear sight, as ever foe deserves to look upon the one who ended their life. At first he was shy to magic as well, seeing it as a dark art of sorts but got a vision from the Nine that mastering it would allow him greater strength(higher Willpower for fatigue XD). Even today though he refuses to utter some spells in his knowledge, he will never bring the dead to life or a demon to our plane. Nor will he deny anyone their movement or right to speak. Never will he toy with one's emotions, though his presence tends to send lesser foes cowering beneath hills, whispering repentence in exchange for their life.(no summoning, or most illusion spells except a fear spell meant to represent his effect on the evil) I use shadow rend because its the best Axe in the game and I like axes... Full set of Resist Magic Madness Armor I got by hunting down every oblivion gate I could. Escutcheon of Chorrol for D.R. along with Necklace of Blades for a total of 68%. Ring of Lordship(Mania) for that last bit of damage resistance(I play hardest difficulty so it matters) and Ring of Perfection. I maxed out all attributes to the earliest I could. I did not do the Addiction exploit though I wish I had. Really just a juggernaut that I've never done an evil act with(outside of quest based). I wrote a fanfiction about him, explaining all the craziness. I'm sorry for the long post @_@
Obviously I spent way too much of my free time on this character, but I have fun with it and I'm sure a lot of the members here can say the same thing. Aside from that though, the initial goal of this character was to be a spellcaster maxed out in all magic-based skills with an abundance of magicka. I wasn't focused on melee or range until I had accomplished my prior goals. With this character I've completed all the guilds, bought and fully upgraded all houses (including add-ons) and most everything else you can think of. With a shortage of things to do, I've started on a ranger-based Argonian which I'll post another time.
I am new here, but expect me to stick around for a while.

Male Khajiit, lvl 11
Birthsign: The Thief
Class: Wanderer (Custom)
Favored Attributes: Agility, Luck
Major Skills:
Athletics
Blunt
Hand To Hand
Acrobatics
Light Armor
Marksman
Sneak
With a playtime of 532:14:04, all skills except Mercantile are maxed.
If I leveled him up all the way, every attribute except Personality and Luck would be 100, but it just doesn't seem realistic to run into a den of low-life bandits and they're all wearing full suits of Glass armor and weilding enchanted Daedric axes and whatnot.
Favorite Guild: Thieves Guild
I like to think my Khajiit as a virtuous thief, and a hardcore dungeon diver. I've done almost everything with him. The only things left undone in Cyrodiil are the Daedric Shrine quests with level requirements higher than 11, and the Dark Brotherhood, 'cause I just don't like to be evil. My crime record indicates one murder, a blight on my past, from the Arena fight with the Gray Prince after completing his quest. Items stolen, on the other hand... Let's just say, given my play time, I must have stolen things at a rate of about seven items per hour. And I guess I was good at it, too, 'cause my largest bounty was 40, and I've only been arrested twice. Both on purpose for quests.

Could this character work out well?
Male Breton, birthsign Atronach
Class:Custom Specialization: Combat;Favored Attributes: Intelligence and Endurance
Major Skills: Hand-to-Hand, Alchemy, Conjuration, Alteration, Restoration, Marksmanship, and Armorer
Never played Oblivion, but I´d like to not [&@%!] things up on the first try.
Trying to become a somewhat magicka resistent warrior with some magical support skills through controlled leveling of my skills.
Opinions/suggestions?

This is my character, but i haven't got the time to list all hes skills.
Hes a Seeker, my own class, hes basicly a stealth / ranged guy, and he isn't very social.

What race are you ,and what exact weapons your using (effects) ?A-BIack_Man wrote:that is pretyt impressive as a level 1 character, and im not sure, but the thieves guild questline might be broken for you. try waiting for 24 hours in the talos plaza district. or, maybe there's a way with the console if your on the PC
i think all of those unique blunts suck, they just dont ahve the damage factor. ic ant get the mace of molag bal, im not level 17. i do like the volendrung though, but i dont like refilling it alot of the time, and again, it doesnt have too great of a damage factor compared to my other weapons.Josjie wrote:Mace of Molag Bal
