The Magi shurgged. "I don't know about you. but I'm getting bored standing here." She smiled respectfully.

Dacey gave her brother's hair a quick, painless yank. "You sound nervous." She observed with a keen smile.

"so. I think that is enough of the more...pessimistic...side of things; how do magi practice their magic? I don't know many magi, so this is the first opportunity I've had to find out. It's like, if you are adept at fire magic, how do practice without burning the city to the ground?" James asked.

[The-Shadow-One]

"We burn trees, or see if we can do that without harming that." Alec said focusing a flame around his finger.

"I see. Fair enough. Well, I have to take my leave. Goodbye Alec, enjoy the rest of the party!". James said

Hastur approached the musical pair. "I must say, that performance was excellent." said Hastur.

"I apologize, Mistr- m'lady," Steven said, bowing his head and relaxing his arm. He could not help but call his feeder Mistress, as she truly was the master of his life now.

Steven looked up at the man who had complimented them and grinned slightly, then looked looked up with a bowed head at Lucy.

Lucy smiled at Hastur. "So nice of you to say so, but most of that was from Steve." She smiled at Steve as she said this.

[Kerr]

"I assume you are both Memies." said Hastur.

James walked home and went to bed, his mind swirling with plans and threats.

Lucy smiled. "Oh I am." She said grinning. "Him, he's a human! and a damn good one at that! I can't play guitar like him." She hummed softly. "yes Steve of course you can!"

Princess Ashi was still on the balconey. She scratched at her shoulder once more, blood was steadily flowing down her arm.

"I have no need to speak now, m'lady. You have stated exactly what I would have, except more beautifully," Steven said, admiration dripping from every word.

[Gandalf]

Vulpar clapped absently at the performance, his mind on other things.

[Kerr]

"Well stay safe. Dangerous times we are living in." said Hastur. "I'm Hastur, by the way."

Alex had fallen asleep in a corner waiting for the Queen to arrive, and had missed her entire speech. He had woken up since then, and was slowly piecing things together by listening in to others conversations.

He slowly made his way through the crowd towards the band, which he knew where his clan-brothers and sisters until he saw Lucy, and her pet human standing together near the stage.

"Hey Lucy!" He yelled moving closer, "Hey Lucy's human guy!"

Alex had a smile on his face, and was waving entusiastically, as if they hadn't seen eachother in a long time.

"Hello there." said Hastur to the new commer. "Who are you?" he asked.

Steven put his head down, not wanting to look up at Alex. There's something...off about him, he thought.

[Believe]

"Me? I'm Alex. Who're you? If you don't mind me saying so, you look a little pale. Like you've eaten something bad, or are having trouble with the 'workings' of your body. You know something Pale-Friend? For some reason I want to hear the band play Stairway to Heaven. Did you know I wrote that song? Then those hippies stole it from me..."

Alex was speaking quite rapidly, and didn't seem to need to pause for breath. His eyes were flicking around the room, and the nervous energy flowing through him made his hands shake slightly as he gestured around while he spoke.

[Gideon Dragontongue]

Will shrugged. "I daresay a little caution wouldn't be out of place."

[Kerr]

"I see...." muttered Hastur. "My name is Hastur." he added. "This guy is crazy. I like him already. Bet he would kill people for me." said Yog. Hastur gave out a slight chuckle. "My companion seems to like you."

[Believe]

Alex looked at Hastur sceptically, "Your companion? There is nobody there. You, my pale friend, are crazy. I'm happy to keep speaking with you, but please remain an arms distance away at all times. I have no wish to catch crazy from you."

He stuck both arms out, measuring the gap between them. When Alex was satisfied that the distance was enough, he dropped his arms back to his sides, slowly clenching and unclenching his fists.

"No problem." said Hastur. His attention returned to Steven. "So, how did you get caught up in all this?" he asked.
