Was it me? Sorry I said those things about your weird face.Dogmantra wrote:Not down here in sunny Suffolk!r wrote:The more astute Englishmen among you may have noticed that it was raining all day yesterday,
Although it is raining today...
Today, I seriously considered leaving here.
Someone's attitude made me quite angry...
They probably won't realise it's them.
EDIT:
Wow... I was a little annoyed, so I decided to watch some of my guilty pleasure: Teen Titans. I've been working my way through the series for a couple of months now, and I was at the end of series 5, the last series. Here's a friendly hint: don't watch the last episode, "Things Change", to cheer you up... it's a very downer ending... I'm more depressed now

Gosh I'm [&@%!] off today. Why are friends so annoying sometimes? I have one friend, and for some odd reason, she can't go her entire life without being terribly mean to someone. She's been really mean to me and all my friends and all her friends. I don't really know why I'm still friends with her. I guess I can't avoid being around her. She sits next to me in Science and Orchestra and is in my History class. Plus, we sit at the same table. But she's so frustrating. For instance, there was a picture on Facebook of me, her, another friend of mine (that right now she hates (I think it was because she was friends with her best friend (Aggh, too many pronouns and parentheses))), and some other people. She comments on the picture insulting the girl and saying F U (except the swear was written out) China (because the girl is Chinese). She goes on to talk about how she's dirty and stuff like that. Her friend says some mean stuff too, but apologizes in the end. But the mean girl (lets call her M) says she won't apologize and calls the girl she's mean to (lets call her C) a dirt bag. So I comment asking M why she's so mean to C, and asking what good could possibly come out of being rude to her for no reason. M responds saying that she admits she is a terribly mean person, and says I'll never understand why she hates C so much. Apparently everyone she tells says she overreacts. Then she says that she can insult anyone she wants. Then says that if C has a face book, than all the better. I tell her that if people say that you overreact, it's probably true. I also say that she has been mean to me and all her friends and it's stupid and pointless.
Get this though. M responds saying. "Do you think I TRY to hurt people? No. I'm just like that". WTF? I go on to tell her that all the decisions you make come from you and you can't blame it on your personality.
It just annoys me. I never know what to do.

I haven't done much today, so instead I'll talk about yesterday.
Went to this festival in Cambridge called Strawberry Fair, with my boyfriend and his family.
It was crap. Bored stiff for about 6 hours. Then when we finally left, his mum said we were going to go and visit his sister in Linton for a little while. Yeah, great, I haven't seen her in a while.
Then they all suddenly decide they're going to the pub in Saffron Walden.
Another 6 hours later, and I'm FINALLY on my way back to Ipswich, which takes about an hour. I didn't get home until 1am. Bloody waste of time, the whole day. I just wanted to go home, but I had to wait until they were all ready to leave to drive me back.

I quite like Strawberry Fair... for East Anglian festivals Latitude is much better though.Rexana wrote:I haven't done much today, so instead I'll talk about yesterday.

It's been really stormy all day here. Does that fit in this thread? I think so. On the way home we drove into a storm, and the sun was still shining behind us so it was making all the raindrops sparkle. It was very pretty but made it quite hard to see where we were going. All the cars' spray trails had rainbows in them too.
I woke up really early this morning because my bf leaves for work early. So I tried going back to sleep, but was engaged in this charming little game by my kitten, Tiger. The aim of the game: to keep me from sleeping and play with him instead. The scoring system this morning seemed to include:
Pouncing on an incidentally moving body part, even my eyelids: 10 points
Waiting until I'm all comfy and THEN pouncing on a random body part: 50 points
Mewing loudly to keep me from falling asleep: 20 points
Running around the room like crazy:30 points
Jumping on and off the bed to facilitate crazy running: 40 points
And finally... sitting on my face so I'll get a mouthful of ginger fur if I should choose to open my mouth: 100 points.
Needless to say, he scored well and won.

My other cat bites your nose sometimes. It's a horrible horrible way to wake up: not only does it really hurt, the first thing you smell is cat breath.Dark Lord wrote:^my dog likes to bite my toes.
its enough to wake me up for the entire day
Anyway, on topic, nothing has happened to me today since I've only been awake for a little bit more than an hour. However, I have a sneaking suspicion that today will be very boring, I'm writing my last exam tomorrow and still need to study quite a bit.

Yayyyyy!
I've had a good day and it's not even over yet. My new guitar pedal arrived, a Devi Ever Disaster Fuzz, which I've been having great fun with all day. Then I decided to go on the Latitude Festival website to see if there's any new line-up announcements, and found out that Thom Yorke of popular Oxford-based beat combo Radiohead is doing an acoustic set! One of my other favourite bands, Maps, have also been confirmed to play. Suddenly the ticket price has been justified and I don't care that Grace Jones is headlining one night when it blatantly should have been Beck or My Bloody Valentine.
And later I'm going to my favourite pub in Bury with my dad...

I haven't done anything special. Only thing out of the ordinary was my travel experiences. In the morning my bus was 24 minutes late, and it was so full that I had to stand up. And since the whole aisle was filled with other standing passengers I ended up next to the driver, where I stood for half the length of my journey.
Then, to get home, I had to drive my moped for 6 km in when it was raining wearing only jeans, a shirt and a thin jacket.
When I came home I was chilled to my bones and had drink a cup of tea and watch some documentaries about LotR to cheer myself up.

Today was a very pleasant day, today was style change day, or however to translate stilbytardag to English. o.O
Anyway, I went goth, a style I've always loved. Not to mention that it really pleased my narcissism as I looked stunning once I'd borrowed the black lipstick and eye liner.
Three of my male friends went stekare, which I have no idea how to translate to English. Basically they had pink shirts, unbuttoned at the top, and their hair gelled back in a horrifying manner. It was quite terrifying, especially as when they managed to act as foppishly as stekares do. The horror....
Then there was also two hippies, a hip hopper, a pirate, a farmer and a couple of other new styles among my friends today.
The most extreme style change however... Imagine a German guy who seems to be in a constant state of cheerfulness, someone who's always friendly and rather lazy. Imagine him with extremely curly, shoulder length hair.
Imagine that guy going emo.
I'm amazed that they even managed to make his hair straight and then with the make up and the black clothes. Anyone who knew him just stared when they saw him, me included. But yeah, as my signature states, lipstick can look good on guys, as well as eye liner actually, the only problem with lipstick is that it gets so messy after a while...not that I had anything to do with that...
So, I had a very pleasant and fun day. I also turned in the last of my lab reports which means that I'll never again have to think about chemistry or physics.

Okay, there's been soem crazy supernatural stuff going down in my life lately, it's a long story. Hopefully I can typre it all before the power goes out. You decide, Coincidence or not? So I went to this carnival at an elementary school yesterday to help out, turn out, they didn't need any so I decided to go home. On my way out I decided to see what kind computers the school had ( I used to go there). While I was in the computer lab I came across a good-looking pair of sunglasses just sitting there on a bookshelf. I decided to "borrow" them. When I got home my Internet wasn't working so I started to think it was the sunglasses I took and I also felt guilty about taking them, I decided to give them back. So today when I went to give the sunglasses back the door near the computer lab was locked. I couldn't risk going in the main entrance and being seen ("NO TRESPASSING") so I just put the glasses down near the door and I left. On my way home A BIG thunderstrom started and is still going on as I type this. All of this was starting to seem very supernatural. What do you think?
Oh, by the way, there used to be a teacher in that computer lab that passed away due to cancer.
What should I do?

First of all, don't "borrow". It will save you trouble. Just wait until the doors unlocked and put them back.Valus wrote:Okay, there's been soem crazy supernatural stuff going down in my life lately, it's a long story.
