"Become part of it?" The elegant eyebrow arched a little more, skeptically, before the elf tilted her head back to snicker. "Well...if a bunch of quarreling elves and a few scraggly humans are the best recruits you have in mind, then I can't say the situation looks too bright..." Rubbing at her forehead, Laeriel paused a moment, in thought. "If nothing else, though, at least we have a leader. What are the plans, then? To...train us, or re-teach us, somewhere in this facility?"

Lithnilillin came out of the shower, a towel around his waist. He decided to go straight to be. Clothes and plans could wait.

With a blissful smile he let himself fall onto the bed, not bothering taking the towel off or with drying his hair.

"Tell you what," Dragovan said to Lae. "I'll take a walk with you tomorrow and explain the entire situation more thoroughly. Maybe that Ashriel fellow can come along too. We understand your questioning of this whole 'revolution' business, but I assure you that we know what we're doing. You go get a good night's sleep now. I'll see you at dawn."

The Frost Elf's gaze flicked between the two rebels slowly, before she gave a brief nod of her head. Rubbing her shoulder with a hand, she turned and made her way to a bed, sitting on it and staring at the ground contemplatively. After a moment, she laid back and rested her head on the pillow, both pale blue eyes roaming across the ceiling moodily before finally fluttering closed. Her hands clasped on her stomach, and with a final low sigh, she let herself drift off to sleep.

"You say there's a dressing room with all types of clothes? Goody." Ashriel said. He went in the dressing room eagerly and came out wearing almost the same thing he was wearing before: a light blue tunic, baggy blue pants, and sandals. The only difference was that these clothes were clean and not ruined. Ashriel was also wearing a heavy leather vest for protection.

"I expect the full tour of this place tomorrow. I want to at least know who and what I'm fighting for."

Spoiler:
I'm just going to skip through the night in order to get the story going again.
The night passed quickly. And with the escaping of the eight mortals, the ICA increased patrols across the entire Occupied States of Andia.

Logan entered the main room where the eight were sleeping. "Wake up, mates!" he said loudly. "Let's go! We've got very little time to waste! Those of you who didn't get any new clothing last night need to do so now!" He pointed to two doors on the left side of the hallway. "The left door there leads to the men's dressing room, and the right leads to the women's dressing room! Take whatever you want and gather back around the fireplace!"

Aarys moaned, and dragged herself off of the couch. She stumbled into the dressing room, rubbing her eyes. She emerged a few minutes later, wearing military fatigue trousers, a white T-shirt, a brown leather jacket and black boots. She sat down by the fireplace. Facing Logan, Aarys quietly asked; "What's going on?"

Valentin had gathered his new clothing the previous night. As a result, he saw no reason in getting up. He simply kept sleeping in front of the fireplace.

Peter hastily entered the dressing room, having been awake for near an hour when Logan entered; he had been in deep contemplation as to the possible futility of the rebel group's operations.

Discarding the pessimistic notions, Peter donned plain gray trousers, a dark green sweater, and cuffed, ankle-high boots over wool socks. The outfit, he thought, was rather comfortable; exceptionally comfortable, really. He stepped into the room that contained the fireplace, awaiting further instructions from Logan.

Aarys nodded to Logan. "Ok, that's good..." She leaned back on the couch, waiting for the others.

"I'm not." Logan said. "But Jeffery is."

A tall man with fair skin, bright blue eyes, and dark blonde hair then entered. This was what Jeffery really looked like without the Shard disguise. He approached the table at the corner and sat down in one of the chairs. "Sit down, kid." Jeffery said to Ashriel. "Ask away."

The female Frost Elf's eyes blinked awake, and for a moment, she simply smiled at the thought of not (immediately) facing death by not getting up first thing. She rubbed her cheeks with her palms, inhaling deeply and ruffling her rather unruly hair.

Finally, she rose and wandered past Logan to the dressing rooms, reentering a moment later in a simple blue blouse and jeans. She slung one of her tattered furs over her shoulder, and it seemed slightly cleaner now.

"I'm assuming we can all ask questions. So...First question: What's there to eat?" Laeriel asked Jeffery teasingly, her tone lighthearted compared to her previously sober mood. Covering a yawn, she stretched and clasped her hands behind her back, eyes flicking around the room watchfully.

"In all seriousness...the main thing I'd like to know is - what's your plan? The Shards are well trained and supplied, as far as I know. While this place is nice, I'd imagine you need a great deal more skilled troops to even consider taking the ICA on. And as for us...what good will we do you? Is the only reason you picked us up is by chance?"

She paused. "I recall being told you had "an elite group of soldiers" or something like that, but I imagine it will take more than one group. Plus, there's the Three to deal with...But I'm sure you folks know that."

Hremai woke up slowly, afraid that it was all a dream. But when the ordering voice turned out to be very real indeed, she jumped up, and quickly followed the order about getting dressed. She emerged a few minutes later wearing a dark red shirt under a dark-red knittet sweater, as well as a pair of black, wide legged pants.

"Did anyone mention breakfast?"

Gladro raced into the dressing room put on underwear and socks, blue jeans and a black vest covered by a grey t-shirt. He also put on a pair of black boots and a dark green coat. Gladro then slowly walked back into the main room.

Lithnilillin groaned and cursed the revolution. He hadn't slept properly in decades. However, he was accustomed to living with a lack of sleep so he didn't have much trouble getting up. He covered himself with the towel and went to the dresser.

It took him a while to decide but he finally settled for a Purple sweathshirt, a pair of black military boots, a pair of cargo pants and a pair fingerless gloves fashioned from leather.
"Where must we go?" he asked Logan with his raspy morning voice.

"Well, we've got to head out to the base." Logan told Lithnilillin. "Remember the estate I was telling you about? We've got to be there by dusk. Breakfast will be ready very soon."

Meanwhile, Jeffery leaned towards Lae with a frown. "Nothing General Sanchez does is by chance." he stated. "And there are many more of us - about 400,000 to be exact. They're all well-armed and well-trained. The vast majority of our weapons come from the dead bodies and supply outposts of Shards. Don't be thinking that we're just going to hand the eight of you guns and send you off into the unknown. You'll be trained for at least a year." He leaned back and grinned. "Sanchez thinks each of you are gifted. He thinks you're special. He has big plans for all of you." He paused. "He wants you to destroy the Three."

"Wha...destroy the Three?" From the Frost Elf's expression and the way she simply stared in disbelief, it seemed as though she had just been told her father was a penguin. "Us? Train for a year?" Her voice was little more than a husky whisper. She obviously hadn't been expecting something of quite this caliber. "Bloody hell." Laeriel exhaled slowly, her lips lingering in their parted state for a moment while her eyes flicked across the ground.

"Well, I suppose that's that. I hope we can learn everything we need to in a year..." The elf smiled weakly and with as much optimism as she could muster, rubbing at her right temple with a few slender fingers.
