Re: TES GeoGuessr
You found it, Rezalon!
Re: TES GeoGuessr
Awesome! The wider shot definitely helped by showing it was on the Northern Shore (had a hunch with the cliffs to the right). I guessed Solstheim because of the sky looking a bit "dustier" in the left.
I haven't got any of the TES games installed currently (I know, blasphemy), so I guess I'll hand it off to whoever gets here first.

Hi Rezalon AKB (the leader of uesp) said that we should try to only post morrowind, oblivion sky rim and some uesp. He said area a battle spite redgusrd and such are too unrecognisable. Post on the first page

Re: TES GeoGuessr
To be clear, the game should only include, Morrowind, Oblivion, Skyrim, and ESO.
Battlespire and Redguard take place in too isolated locations to work otherwise. The mobile games are too obscure, and Arena and Daggerfall don't have much in the way of landmarks.
And I'm not the leader of the UESP, just your average, everyday administrator

Re: TES GeoGuessr
Okay, I have another.
A nice early-morning shot.
<edit>
Bonus points for figuring it out with your Detective Skillz using the 'early morning' clue.
edit: And oh yeah - forgot to ask: Where is the shot taken from?

Nope.Bleak Falls Barrow?
Yep.Is that in the reach
Clues:
(1) The sun is in the middle of the picture.
(2) It is morning - the sun has just risen.
(3) Hmm that looks distinctive on the horizon.

Re: TES GeoGuessr
Not Red Eagle Redoubt. Not Rebel's Cairn.
Not particularly near either of those two either.
I get the feeling you recognise the silhouette on the horizon though, right?
(5) The Sun appears (more or less) directly above that location on the horizon - so if you know where the Sun rises then you can work out the direction from that location to where this shot was taken from.
There is only one place in Skyrim that it could be. (imo)

So it's in the Rift?
Edit: Welp. Just noticed that you said it's the Reach. Sorry about that.
PS, Ragnvald?

Correct.daedricprincess wrote:Ragnvald?
That's Sundered Towers on the horizon. If the Sun rises in the East then the pic must have been taken directly due west of there. Ragnvald is the only option.
Sorry all_freed, almost but not quite.
daedricprincess, it's your go if you have a pic for us.
