Matthias tried to fight the orc that was on his back. He looked up, and an arrow had hit the orc.

The Dwarf replied to Dwanum "steel chainmail covered with green leather, mattocks, and broadswords.

Dwanum says back "thank you, I will be right back." Dwanum walked to the armoury and picked up the armour, a mattock, and a broadsword. He sheathed his sword and put the mattock on his back after he put his armour on. He walked back out to the guard house and met with the guard "Ready for duty, sir"

"I need to speak to someone now," Faronhír insisted, "are you trying to tell me nobody of rank is in the city, at all?"

The Gatekeeper looked apologetic. "Isn't the Captain with you?"

"This is ridiculous!" Faronhír exclaimed, "where are the other Captains? We where attacked by Orcs!"

"Well, there's one. An old one mind you. He's in the North Tower."

[OblivionDuruza]

"Thank you," Faronhír sighed, "I'must speak to him right away. In the meantime, take a message to the Barracks if you will, we need to muster a force to scour the area and hunt down the remaining Orcs."

"Yes, sir! But I must warn you, over half of our forces are away. Either with the King or abroad! The orcs couldn't have picked a better time!" Shouted the Gatekeeper, afraid. Telling his son to man the gate, he ran to the Barracks.

Weapon: Huge two-handed battleaxe. Made of Dwarven steel

Wealth: In between medium and poor. Makes a well-enough living.
Strengths: At home in the thick of battle. Fierce in melee.
Weaknesses: He is relatively weak-willed and will usually go for an idea that he likes the idea of.
Morla Orientation: Doesn't really care about "good" and "evil", but knows that the Great Enemy is not going to be beneficial to Middle-Earth.
Ruler: N/A - he lives by his own rules.
Band of followers: An elven archer called Camthalion.
Family: None. He was exiled from the dwarves.
Village: None. He lives in a travelling camp, visiting nearby places as he comes to them. Currently camped near to the Encircling Mountains, but does not know of Gondolin.

Dwanum looked at the guard. "When do I start sir?"

"Now." Said the Commander, striding in the door. He was fat and had a green leather overcoat that was almost bursting. However, he looked fierce and strong and not to be trifled with.

One of the soldiers leaned over. "Salute him."

Dwanum lifted his hand to his forehead and yelled "Commander, sir!"

"Good, I like an obidient soldier. First day is it?" He and the other soldiers smiled. "Ever fought in a goblin war before?"

[Imp]

"No Sir!" "I was born into mining, sir!" Dwanum said, still at attention.

"Hmmm... A miner. Ah... So you know a bit about rocks and tunnels? Good. Useful. But I haven't seen you fight. Gurgun, take him to the practise room. Once he's passed the test, bring him to me."

[Imp]

Dwanum followed Gurgun to the practice room.

"Okay, take this axe and charge at me with it." Gurgun threw the axe at the soldier and took an iron, banded shield.

Dwanum took his axe, bent his knees, and then charged into Gurgun, swinging the axe in an upward motion on the sheild.

Findrodin killed an orc by slicing off its arm and legs. The rest fled, scared of this threat. The man looked down at the other man. "You're in a bad state. Come on, there's a town near here."

He called his dog and the set off.

The dwarf hit the axe out of Dwanum's hand and bashed him over the nose.
