Re: Tamrielic Adventures: Vol. 2
Nerevar's Prowess
The ship was docked. Or brought to land, at least. The only dock in the area had proven to be a small pier just off a big manor house. Not suited for a ship the size of the Nerevar's Prowess. The hull had scraped against a rock in the river, and water was pouring in, fast.
Gudrun and the others stood on the land, the young Nord holding Aythu by a leash. She had had to yank the vampire out of her little chamber inside the hull before going on land.
"Right, well," Gudrun began, and took a deep breath. "Time to go downtown."
Suran
"Right then," Llevana said. "Let's get going."
The town was in terrible shape. Blood on the ground, dead bodies, both of kagouti and people, damaged buildings, and distressed and tired faces. Llevana however only had eyes for one thing. A ship on the other side of the shore.

Re: Tamrielic Adventures: Vol. 2
Psyfalia covered her mouth in shock when she saw the destruction that these creatures had wrought upon Suran. "Who could have unleashed these creatures upon this town? What fiend would seek harm upon Suran?" She asked the rest in a concerned tone that also hinted at sorrow. Sorrow for the people that had lost loved ones. She continued following Llevana.

Gaenidil watched the death as they walked, the kagouti had done a nice job of making the corpses unappetizing... He sighed, he would have to sate his hunger another time.

Katien covered her mouth at the bodies, looking a bit green. "Oh my.." She whimpered as she followed, her eyes lingering upon the bodies.

Re: Tamrielic Adventures: Vol. 2
Fornar looked at the bodies surrounding him. He could make no joke of this.
'Only a man with a stone heart could do this', he said, directing it toward Psyfalia, 'A man who feels no remorse or mercy, or a man looking to get a job done perhaps'.
He surveyed the scene further, looking at the buildings crumbling into ruin, and at the dead kagoutis.
'These kagoutis didn't want to attack the town, surely. The fiend must have forced them into it, they didn't deserve this death,' Fornar was sorrowful as he spoke. He put his hands together and silently prayed, 'Azura help us,' he thought.

Suran
Alindrel was blinking at all the bodies.
"Ewww...." she said, bringing a hand against her mouth. "That's not icing."
Nerevar's Prowess
Aythu was blinking and writhing in the sunlight, tugging at the leash violently, trying to get away, rambling nonsensically all the while about not wanting to go, begging not to be taken into town alongside threatening bodily harm to everyone near her.

Psyfalia remained silent. Her hands were over her mouth. Sorrow had filled her heart and didn't want to think about what ill manner of beast would unleash these creatures against a town. She knew that whoever was behind this had to be a powerful mage.

Llela cooly regarded the carnage, rubbing the back of her neck. "Rest with the Three, strangers..." She muttered, shaking her head. "What a slaughter! I can't remember seeing anything weirder..." She reconsidered. That was a big statement to make. " Well, apart from the meat monster we fought with Owyn and Per in Nagastani, that was [&@%!] up, too..."

Bloodied streets of Suran
Sinyail wandered out the Tavern, and stopped open mouthed, as for once in his one and half centuries of existence, he was lost for words at the destruction that had visited the town. Seeing the others wandering away, he decided to catch up to them.

Valentia walked out behind Sinyail, and immediately let out a sharp gasp. She had expected the damage to be bad, but she was not prepared for what she had seen. She quickly threw up her hood to shield her peripheral vision as much as she could and hurried to catch up with the others.

The streets of Suran
"Jullianos's staff! A meat monster!? What foul magic was used to create that? I hate to think how many people were killed to preform that spell to conjure up a monster of pure meat." Psyfalia exclaimed when she heard about the meat monster. She knew powerful and dark magic had to behind that. She knew what magic was capable of a monster of meat was plausible to her. She was an Altmer after all.

"What else? Necromancy." Llela told Psyphalia darkly, fingering her pendant of the Tribunal. "Foul necromancy. We faced many undead creatures in that Ayleid ruin, but that one was the worst."

"Adventuring is a dangerous business." Llela said sagely, as she stepped over what was left of a townguard.

Suran's destroyed streets
"There is a good reason why the Arch-Mage of the Mage's Guild has banned the use of Nercomancy and this is why. Whilst it is debatable that there are a few advantages to it, it mostly deals with the undead. A single nercomancer could raise an army from the dead and add more men after they have been slain. I've read all about it at the Arcane University in Cyrodiil. I won't bore you with the details but if we are dealing with a nercomancer here, we will have to slay him or her. Although i do not wish to take a life." Psyfalia told the group. She had spent many hours reading the Arcane's books collection during her ten years there and knew a lot about it. Well, as much as you can from reading about it. She started to grow nervous. Whilst she was a powerful destruction mage, she didn't enjoy using her gift to take lives. She only learned it for self defense and to help others if they were being attacked.

"The Telvanni are known for their use of life extending necromancy, and , the dunmer can use necromancy as long as their corpses weren't dunmer themselves." Gaenidil explained to Katien.
