That doesn't mean it's not infinite. It's infinite in the sense that it'll keep expanding forever. Pedanticism won't get you anywhere.

Theoretically, it should reach a point where the universe can't sustain itself and it will begin to contract or "rip". I think it might be something about entropy. I'm not sure.

Matt you clearly missed the memo at the bottom that read, I don't believe in the ideas I'm bashing.

Secondly, every one should know that to try to make out the Gay's issue as something on the level of Racism in America is stupid. They're hardly discriminated against in the manner the minorities were since we have hundreds of Laws that prevent this in the first place, but a) They're not a race, and b) will always be a minority.

So not to say they're lesser people, but that in the eternal argument they're going to lose since really only gays themselves can understand what it means to be gay, and they're outnumbered at least 1 to 10 if not more.

So really, let them get represented equally and let them get the right to marry, the government has no say on whether or not they can, and any religion that goes out of their way to prevent this, 'Hint out of their way'. I don't know about you but all my Life my Church (Catholic) has never said to me in Class or Church that they don't have the right, but that they frown-upon it (as I do). Because really what does it matter to us, if they go on being gay, then let them be Gay, and let God decide in the end.

Also in regards to the total knowledge of the universe thing, don't try it. Even after 400 years we still can't fully comprehend Gravity. Think about that a formula and theory designed by one of the greatest minds and thought of and contemplated by our greatest minds over the years can't still figure out one of the earliest theories and vital developed.

Don't you ever remember in class how many times your teacher said 'We still don't know' or that something is 'unknown'. We even have detected something 'faster' than light, something Einstein proclaimed as impossible. We will never understand the Universe and Time fully, and even if we know 99.9999999999% of the Universe that .0000000001% will always lead to the possibility of God working behind the works.

As I said earlier, marriage is a statutory/legal issue; it carries a legal definition and is recognized as a legal-binding contract between two consenting adults. The Constitution, and thereby the law, does not recognize "God" in the sense of any one religion. Religion has absolutely nothing to do with religion, anymore. To say it does is completely misunderstanding what a marriage, by legal standards, actually is.

And yes, they are a minority; hence why this is a civil rights issue. The government, via statute/law or judicial review/precedence, absolutely has the say in the definition of marriage, and therefore whether gays can marry.

To qualify the hatred and discrimination that gays receive as "not on the level of 'racism'" is a) false, and b) even if (somehow) true, completely missing the point. People have lost their jobs for "coming out"; been alienated and ostricized by their peers, neighbors, and (worst of all) family; and been beaten and/or murdered by random strangers. That entire statement from you shows just how little people actually understand about what's happening.

Most of us would agree gays should not lose their jobs, should not get beaten, so don’t say that’s why they need "same rights" because almost all of us agree they have the right to NOT have that happen to them

And again that’s for being gay, not for “gay marriage ” two different things.

Marriage IS a legal definition true, but right now it says gays CANT marry, funny how they love to quote laws and say "follow them#$!$R%$$%" and then leave out the other laws that disagree with their points

They are okay with it, my dad is all for it, but also believes if we allow them then others should be to.

My mom thinks as I do, its a sin but we all sin so its nothing new.

Marriage on the other hand, the ones that are done in the USA come form Christianity, you even have them in churches more then half the time, which is the problem, they say how "stupid" all of are things are and then they want to use our system?

Wolfie, if you present a legitimate point in a manner that is reasonably easy to decipher as being such, I will attempt to counter your arguments.

As of yet, I have not seen one legitimate reason from you as to why gays should't be allowed to marry.

Depends on the state.

"How is marriage defined in the United States? Currently 37 states have passed laws which define marriage as limited to a union between one man and one woman: 33 state legislatures have passed statutes to that effect, and 4 states (Alaska, Hawaii, Nebraska and Nevada) have, by popular vote, passed Defense of Marriage Acts (DOMAs) as constitutional amendments; the Ohio state legislature is currently debating a Defense of Marriage Act. Thirteen states, therefore, do not currently have laws on their books which limit marriage to a union between one man and one woman."

Here is one, why do they need to marry? what dose marriage do for them?
Christians do it cause its away to have sex with out sin and is commanded by God

soooo why do they need it?

Give me one reason they need to have a fancy thing and ceremony to be happy and they need to do this?
What makes it a right? your not marrying so you can have sex most likely (some may be most are not)
What makes you NEED this to be a right

Benefits? if they are doing it for the benefits are they doing it for the right reasons?

is not marrying to get benefits illegal?

It's not that we can't answer you, Wolfie.. It's just that UESP has rules about being nice and not calling you an idiot who has no idea what he's talking about,
and you just broke that rule, if you cant talk with out insulting I'd dare say your doing the same thing you claim others are doing to gays.

You claim we are intolerable but anyone who disagrees with you has no idea what they are talking about and is an idiot

I'm not calling names, I understand you disagree with me, thats your right, you have a right to think deffreint then me

yet it seems you dont want to follow that.
Your right it depends on the state so why bring up the laws saying this means EVREY state should?

Sooo I find it funny you say “marriage is this” and then when I point something out you change it and say “well no it depends on the state”

Here's a question in response:

Is it your business whether they NEED to be married?

If I were representative of the governance that rules your life, and I declared that no-one NEEDS to be married, would that mean that I am right in depriving you of your choice?

It isn't the responsibility of the government to make a choice for people.

Don't blab out any bullsh*t about God. There are many denominations of many religions that believe that marriage, whether straight or gay, is the ultimate expression of both earthly and divine love.

Here's a question: Who the hell cares what anyone else does?
A. It's none of my buisness what someone does behind closed doors.
B. If you believe in God, the Bible actually does talk about free will. God lets man make his own sins. If you are going to comment on your religon, you better at least know it first.
C. Our personal opinions on a matter should not effect another's rights. In Christianity, it's a sin to not accept Jesus, that doesn't stop any Jewish weddings. Or any Islamic weddings, or Buddist.
So the point is, no one is making you be gay. No one is making you live with any gay people. No one is saying you have to accept gay people. No makes you be around gay people. So why do you care? Telling one person to not be gay, will not get you any reward, in this life or the next. Neither will telling a gay person that they can not get married. It will not affect you. I do not like people showing public showing of "gay affection", but that is not because they are gay. It's because that is not my buisness, and I do not want to see anyone, straight, gay, or bi, make their private issues and affections public.

Marriage provides benefits to couples who seek to enter into a major social contract with each other, promising to uphold their responsibilities within said contract.

And what are you talking about, with illegality? Heteros get married for money all of the time, and it's viewed as essentially legal to do so (research "Kim Kardashian").

It's not an insult if it's true.

And no, dingleberry, I was pointing-out that religion has nothing to do with marriage any longer, in all legal sense.

Christianity and gays dont mix. Im pretty sure there is quite a few passages in the Bible about the Christian God hating gays.
Oh... And one more thing.
Humanity started, according to the KJV Bible, with Adam and Eve, not Adam and Steve.
But honestly I could care less if you wanted to be gay, just dont ask me out.

I know a few Believers in Christ who are homosexual. So, to them, marriage would mean the same as it would to any other Believer.

God loves everyone, God hates no one. In the grand sceme of things, I doubt being gay matters in the long run, since there is only one inforgivable sin. Being gay is not that sin. READ the Bible before you comment on it.

Show me one place it says free will, it never dose.

C. Our personal opinions on a matter should not effect another's rights. In Christianity, it's a sin to not accept Jesus, that doesn't stop any Jewish weddings. Or any Islamic weddings, or Buddist.
Because he says marriage is for ALL mankind between a man and a women not just those who belive in Christ.
So the point is, no one is making you be gay. No one is making you live with any gay people. No one is saying you have to accept gay people
first two truth enough last one not true, in fact that want it to be illegal to not accept them, to the point where we will be FORCED to marry them.

So why do you care?
becuse God says marrige is for a man and a women, and the laws would allowed them to have marriages in church and be wrong to NOT do it just like its wrong to not marry a black and white couple.
Telling onw person to not be gay, will not get you any reward, in this life or the next.
Show me one place where any of us on here tried to do that
Neither will telling a gay person that they can not get married. It will not affect you.
yes it will because if they get their way we will be forced under law to marry them.
