I got killed again by that vampire guy in Draynor and lost all my gear.
But it would be MUCH appreciated if you could send me some stuff to help me up. :( Melee by the way.

Also a good rule of thumb, if the NPC's level is shown in anything except green... avoid it until you're a higher level. At low levels anything with a red level will basically rip your head off and feed it to your corpse. And the vampire in Draynor... I waited until combat level 30 to do that quest (if you didn't start the quest, that's the only way to kill the vampire) and even then I still needed a bit 'o food.

You need to train at the lumby cows. They give decent xp and drop cowhides which are worth 100 each. And Oathbreaker is right. Nonmembers should stay away from anything withing 4 lvls of them. For members we sort of have to kill things higher lvl then us like the KBD, Mole, KQ, Godwars Bosses, ect.

As an economic rule of thumb (to my knowledge applying to everything everywhere except in a certain MMO which will remain un-named due to its utter suckiness), bulk = cheaper.

You're best off just dumping all your ore in the GE. At the very most it'll take a couple hours to get rid of it all. And I'm not sure if this affects sales and buy attempts or not, but if you're having trouble, you could always switch to highly populated trade worlds like World 1 and 3 (or 2 if you're a member). So if the GE is limited to the world you're currently on and you're having trouble getting rid of all of the iron, just switch to a world like that and it should go faster.

-edit-

WOW... after looking at my post the word you're is on all 3 lines of the second paragraph... That isn't how it showed up while I was typing it... what a coincidence.

Not that I'm going to start playing, but I was just curious to ask: In the last few months, what additions have they made for free-players? Besides the 'balanced-trade' BS, of course. Any new environments? Items? Quests?

1000th post =)

Gratz on 1000th post...but...umm...they added team capes...they're really shiny capes that have kewl designs...also, anyone who is wearing the same cape shows up as a blue dot on the map...it's helpful for Clan Wars...Oh! Haven't heard about that either...It's a pk ish place where you work in a team of some friends against another team of people...they're planning on updating it soon too!

Given the fact that for the entire 2 years I DID play before quitting we didn't get crap... I think it's appropriate compensation. Especially since we're stuck with a 3k differentiation for trade limits. Besides, you members get new stuff every month (sometimes more often than that!!!) so you don't exactly get to complain.

No offense but we get new stuff because we pay for it...
As much as everyone hates to hear it, Jagex is a company and they need to make money. They only make a little money of nonmembers with the ads. You guys are lucky you got anything at all lol.
