Trevor watched the two, he then turned towards the gun, "Nothing like flintlocks."

"Ah well, in short. Ah hem. The cannons are on wheels to enable us to slide it out of the gunport and back for loading. To load the cannon, we have to run it inside the ship, place powder bags down the front of the barrel, place a cannon ball in the barrel and take a ramrod and push it all to the back. There is a hole drilled in the top back of the cannon that lead to where the powder bags sit. A fuse is inserted in the hole. We run out the cannon to the gunport and then we aimed right, we light the fuse and there. Then we repeat the whole process again. If we fire a lot of times, each time we run the cannon back in we have to swab out the inside of the barrel to remove any burning coals from the last shot. Otherwise, when we put in the next powder bag... eh, it would get dangerous." Christopher said somewhat quickly. He was pointing to the specific parts of the gun. He grinned, "It takes practice, do you understand?"

The man looked at Trevor, "Try shooting a flintlock across the storming oceans to blow apart a ship's mast. Did you here how to use a cannon? Are you a new gunner too?"

Trevor sifted through what he could understand of the Dutch and what the others had said, "I got enough, and yes; I will be gunner. I won't say I have the aim of Artemis, but.."

[Imp]

"You'll get good at it, no need to worry about that," Christopher said. "There's a lot to do on the ship, can't practice shooting while we are docked." He told the same thing in Dutch, and then walked off to the hold.

I just wanted to let everyone know, if I ever say that "The whole crew," it means the whole crew, but minus you. Though, it could be you. I'm just saying when I say that I don't want to be making you do what the whole crew is doing.

Lupin looked around and grinned slightly. what am I to come up for? he wondered.

[Imp]

Two very large men were whispering to each other, pointing at Lupin. After a laugh, one walked up to him. They were both traveling with tall bottles of rum in their hands, occasionally taking swigs. One handed a bottle into Lupin's chest, "Drink, friend," he said, with a gruff voice. "Are you good with your fists?" the other asked.

"I'm a fair hand I guess.." Lupin muttered, taking a sip from the bottle. "Why?"

[Imp]

"We are going to be sailing for awhile. All of us are good brawlers. Wouldn't be bad to know how to throw a few punches. Some parts of this crew gets rowdy," he said, "I wouldn't mind sparring anyone, so you wanna fight?" he asked. He said it in a fashion that seemed to make the dialogue seem common.

Lupin grinned. "Sure.." He mumbled, placing his bottle upon the ground. "Say when."

[Imp]

"Roberto will tell you when to start," he said, pointing to the other big fellow. The fighter put his left leg out to the side, and his fists up.

Lupin held his hands up in a smile, curled into fists, keeping them by his face, his feet shifted to give him slightly better footing upon the swaying ship.

[Imp]

"That's a good stance," Roberto said, "but when out at sea, keep your feet exactly parallel, like Derek," he said pointing to him. He was standing as if he had saddled a horse.

[The-Shadow-One]

Lupin followed Derek's stance, feeling silly.

[Imp]

"Same way with a sword, kid," Roberto said, "Just future reference." There was a moment of silence. "Oh, nothing to serious, just punches, no vital areas. Derek nodded, and Roberto looked over at Lupin, waiting for a signal of readiness.

Lupin stayed silent, he exuded readiness.

[Imp]

Roberto shrugged, and exclaimed, "Go!" backing up quickly.

Derek threw a straight punch toward Lupin's face.

[The-Shadow-One]

Lupin turned on his heel, twisting to punch back.

[Imp]

Derek surprisingly was punched in the chest, and stumbled a bit backward. He came back, his feet not leaving the ground, with another punch.

[The-Shadow-One]

Lupin ducked under this one as much as he could and swept at Derek's legs.

[Imp]

"Gah," Derek said, as he fell. "I'm done," he said getting up and brushing off. "I want to fight you again when we are actually sailing," he said pointing a finger at Lupin. Roberto gave a quick frown and took a step back.

[The-Shadow-One]

Lupin drew himself to his full height once more. "I am sure you will do better next time." He said faintly, "I hope you do." He glanced at Roberto and wondered why he took a step backwards.

[Imp]

"I'm just," Roberto began, catching Sora's glance, "I didn't know what he was going to do." Derek began to walk away. When he was out of earshot, Roberto finished, "He's a bit unpredictable."

"I could of handled him should he attacked viciously." Lupin muttered, before smiling at Roberto. "Has he been defeated before?"

[Imp]

"Yes, but never out in the ocean," Roberto said with a smile. "Have you ever checked out the hold on this ship?"
