Are you sure you're talking about Mirabelle Ervine and not Nirya (the Altmer)? I doubt Mirabelle has any dialog regarding the player as the Arch-Mage, but Nirya is the one who will say things like "I'm sure you've made note of who's been the most helpful during your time here, Arch-Mage."Aarah wrote:Oh really! Something that makes me mad, is the fact that I will start a new game, say Im gonna stick with this character til he dies, or I finish a play through. But instead, I'll have an idea for another character, which completely destroys all the ideas I had for the current character. And so, I start the new character instead.

It sounds like you have a case of altitis. Don't worry, though. It affects approximately 95% of the general gaming population at one point or another.Greenlantern wrote:Something that makes me mad, is the fact that I will start a new game, say Im gonna stick with this character til he dies, or I finish a play through. I had a look and yes, you're right, it is Nirya. I always thought it was Mirabelle.Belthazor wrote: Are you sure you're talking about Mirabelle Ervine and not Nirya (the Altmer)? Either way, she still stands there 24/7, so it is still likely to be a bug.

I hate the fact that many skills don't level naturally, smithing being the worst example. You can't ever get to a decent level in smithing just by making abit of jewelry and armor and improving a couple of things for yourself, the only way to do it is to cheese it and churn out enough weapons and armor to outfit the whole imperial legion 10 times over.

Do keep in mind that the more expensive the item you create is, the more your skill increases. The same goes for alchemy.Raynil dralas wrote:I hate the fact that many skills don't level naturally, smithing being the worst example. On topic (and I apologize if this has been mentioned already): I hate how dragons will fight everything on the map but you. I also hate how they sometimes will fly off to crash-land on the other side of a mountain once you've damaged them enough.

Re: What makes you mad in Skyrim?
You still have to cheese it to get to the higher levels, in morrowind and oblivion you could level armorer (sort of the predecessor) by just repairing your own gear when it was damaged which is a natural way to raise a skill, unless your roleplaying a blacksmith the amount of crap you have to make to level the skill is absurd.perylousdemon wrote:Do keep in mind that the more expensive the item you create is, the more your skill increases. Meh. I don't really even think about it anymore at this point. I want to buy a horse for a follower and have them ride too. That did make me mad, cause I bought a horse for Lydia until I found out it does not apply. Wasted 1000 gold!

Ikr? I hate how followers can't use horses! I also hate how they can't jump over stuff like the PC, they have to go around, sometimes quite a ways around, just to catch up to me.Ursula_Melaninbjork wrote:I want to buy a horse for a follower and have them ride too. Re: What makes you mad in Skyrim?
I hate that as well. Even when walking, i can outpace the AI. Why can't they get onto a horse? Oblivion allowed it.
I hate it when the game decides to kill you despite having enough health left to take one or two more hits. It's annoying and it's a cheap death. I don't mind dying. If you playing a mage with a lot of points on magika, i think the game just trolls you hard and kills you in one hit.

Re: What makes you mad in Skyrim?
The ebony mail is really irking me these days. It looks great on my Bosmer and it protects her well, but whenever she goes into sneak mode or is attacking an enemy, the stupid black mist gets in her view and her arrows keep missing their targets. Its a waste of arrows plus it makes her seem inefficient. She may just have to try another type of heavy armor or go back to light. GRR.

I've seen where others have complained of this. I think you'te going to have to change her armor too.

The lack of growls from [&@%!] wolves. I am starting to get [&@%!] fed up of being attacked by the [&@%!] without warning and they are not fun to fight. Why did they disable the damn sound for them? It's only the wolves that don't growl or bark.

They never do in mine and it's the legendary edition. Either it's a bug or they removed it for some reason.

This is a case where I hope it's a bug, because removing it would just be stupid.

Re: What makes you mad in Skyrim?
I think it was the Dawnguard add on that created the bug.
Re: What makes you mad in Skyrim?
It's one of the expansions but I'm not sure which one. First thing I noticed when I bought Legendary edition was the wolf calls lacked sound and I could't block with bound weapons. When I installed just the base "vanilla" game without the expansions, both worked fine. I never tried installing them one by one to figure out which expansion was the actual root cause of the missing sound fx or the bound weapon blocking bug. I actually suspect DB as the culprit for the bound weapon bug. Isn't that the one that fiddled around with bound weapons by adding and introducing the bound dagger? I think that's what broke it.

Re: What makes you mad in Skyrim?
People constantly saying the same stuff everytime i pass em!
Another thing i love about oblivion, people said more generic normal stuff like "Greetings!", "Oh, hi.".
Walk past people in skyrim and their like "everyone says eorlund graymane is the greatest smith in whiterun, all i ask is a fair chance" and
"I work for my mother, to sell fruits and vegetables, its fun most days, but hard work".
hearing stuff like that 100 times over and over and over again is annoying.

I also dislike that my horse will run towards the fight. If I get off of my horse and attempt an bow shot, the horse is going to be in the way. Sometimes I feel like I'm spending more time casting Healing Hands on my horse than actually fighting. If the horse dies, I'm stuck thumbing a ride in the middle of nowhere.Greenlantern wrote:Ikr?
