i dont consider myself a geek or nerd for playing this, although in fairness i got it two days ago, though i have wanted it since its release. I even had my best friend over while i was installing it, and we were talking about it and he didn't say one word about me being a geek or nerd.

Now i do consider myself a geek, in a good way, for other reasons, but thats besides the point.

I don't really consider myself a nerd for playing this. There's no reason to. When you think about it, all games are about subjects that some people consider "nerdy." A lot of games are about aliens, outer-space, or the future. Just because Oblivion involves magic and swords doesn't make it anymore "nerdy" or any less fun than other games. So, if the game isn't "nerdy" then I'm not "nerdy."

I'll never understand why some people care so much about what people think of them, especially people from school or something like that. Afterall, the odds are you probably won't ever see 90% of those people again, and besides, as if what someone else thinks of you makes a difference.
If someone doesn't like you or whatever because you play a certain game then that person isn't worth any of your time or effort.
