The rating change was because someone found a hidden art file in the game and made a mod with it. The file was a fully renderd toppless female body I think. Bethesda changed it voluntarily from what I heard.

I personally agree with the M rating but the ESRB rating system can only tell you so much about a game.

The dark brotherhood questline (no offense MHL) is the main reason for my stance here. It simply isn't something that a child should be exposed to. those people are just way too twisted with the whole ritualistic murder thing.

let's face it, no one actually waits until the age on the box to play a game so effectively an 8 or 9 year-old kid could easily get their hands on it if it was rated 'teen.' The M rating at least makes sure that kids have parental approval before playing it.

The 'nude mod' point is also a good reason to change the rating but hopefully someone old enough to buy it would be mature enough to see how retarded making/downloading such a mod would be.
