Sean Bean Voice In Oblivion
They should make an expansion with cool additions to the main quests - i like the idea of having provinces rebelling and fighting, and that you could reconcile them - thiefs/assassins could sneak in and threaten military leaders (or just kill them), whereas fighting types could just hack and slash through an entire army with a ragtag bunch of fellow warriors (cue those random Orders you can find).
I qoute US poet Billy Collins: "Literature straps poetry to a chair and beats meaning out of it with a hose."

I agree Martin didnt want suicide besides why didnt he just stab himself if he wanted suicide HE IS NOT A SUICIDE FREAK >:(exterminizer! wrote:Vook: why are you so sure it's suicide? I personally feel he actually wanted to save Tamriel. There's never any evidence of anyone hating him. If he has any sense, he'll know why Jauffre didn't give him much attention (keep him secret, keep him safe)<---hehe. I think he was doing what he thought was his duty to the people of tamriel. If he could've slain Mehrunes without dying himself, he would have obviously known that ending a long line of emperors isn't the best move, and would have done that instead.
Suicide????
I beg your pardon, not only is my character female but she is also Breton and head of every guild as well as Champion of Cyrodill. Being a battlemage she can tank around with the best of them...although she is at heart a Dark Sister who loves to wield a poison apple nearly as much as a dai-katana.mandangalow wrote:That just proves that Bretons can't fight.
And, in her latest playthrough, kept Jauffre, Baurus and Burd alive after Bruma Great Gate.
Not sure where this idea of Martin being a manic depressive suicidal person throughout the MQ came from. I think, aided by great voice acting from Sean Bean, he conveyed an excellent impression of someone who started scared and confused and then gradually embraced his destiny. (And made even the baddest Breton in Cyrodill cry at the end...)
Here is the complete cast for the voice-acting so you know who is who:
Patrick Stewart:..........Emperor Uriel Septim VII (Capt. Piccard really gets around; a brief away-mission, perhaps?
)
Sean Bean:...................Brother/Emperor Martin Septim/Emperor
Terence Stamp:............Mankar Camoran
Lynda Carter:................Nord Females, Orc Females (yes, Wonder Woman herself)
Jonathan Bryce:...........Argonian Males
Ralph Cosham: .............Breton Males
Catherine Flye: ...........(miscellaneous voice)
Gayle Jessup:..............(miscellaneous voice)
Wes Johnson:..............Lucien Lachance, Imperial males, Dremora, Arena announcer
Micheal Mack:..............Redguard males
Elisabeth Noone:..........Argonian females
Craig Sechler:..............Dark Elf males
Music by Jeremy Soule
I was reading some negative comments about Lynda Carter in another post, about her orc voices...I actually liked the matter-of-fact approach. It was funny to see an orc with mundane human sensibilities and a voice to match, -- I see the unexpectedness as funny, not bad.
