No. Being able to use one of The Four Powers enables you to create, alter, and destroy your element of choice, but not actually become it. Please don't deflate again.

Shoot. There goes my "The bullets passed harmlessly through the professor as he had taken on the form of water."

Okay I've got many other questions but I would rather them be answered through gameplay

Don't worry! Water is really dense so make a waterwall and freeze it to ice. I'm sure that doable. >~>

M'hm.

Also, I'd like to get a good starting date soon. 04/07/2014 is the unofficial date I announced in chat, but I realize that some of you may have school testing around then or even in the month ahead. So, before I finalize any date I'd like to know what date would be best for you guys.

~ Character Info ~
• Name: Zephyr Torrin
~ Aliases: Spirit Caller (to his Fellow Cryptmasters)
• Ancestry: Riftling Bishop
• Age: 132
• Gender: Male
• Physical Appearance:
Spoiler:
Image

Height: 6’ 4”
Weight: 165 lbs
Build: Medium , lightly muscled from shoveling but average on all accounts
Features: Silver Hair, Bright golden eyes, fair features and runic tattoos on his arms and legs
• Background:
Early Life: Zephyr was the eldest of three children in a small village just inside of the Jagged Thorn region of Iandrye. His parents and his siblings lived a relatively easy life despite being so close to the gloom of the Pallid forest region, there was little interaction between them and the supernatural creatures within, however due to their riftling nature they were perhaps a bit changed by the close proximity to such a dark place. They were always set apart from their human neighbors, who saw them as perhaps agents of the dangerous denizens within the forest. Whatever the truth happened to be Zephyr never found out, though the villagers had good reason to suspect foul magic because that is in fact the truth, his parents were Cryptmasters. Though as coroners this was easily hidden. Eventually however, [&@%!] hit the fan.
It was one hundred and fifteen years ago, Zephyr was only seventeen at the time, when they came. The creatures and monsters that lived within the pass finally had made their move, the town which was virtually defenseless, was attacked by a horde of monsters of every shape and size, ranging from humanoid giants to swarms of devouring bats, the only way to save the town was for his parents to reveal their true nature and called upon the Goddess to raise the local cemetery and all of the fallen to defend the town, faced with an unrelenting horde of undead the monsters were eventually pushed back but not before half the town had been devoured, killed or taken. And not before several people had seen their loved ones returned to life as zombies. They were horrified and finally had proof to justify their actions, they captured the battle-weary Cryptmasters and had them executed in front of their children. They had not taken the children, thinking them too young to be involved in such devilry and no one had seen any of them using magic of any kind let alone Vosthrala. They were wrong, oh so wrong indeed, when the headsman’s axe cleaved Zephyr’s mother’s head from her shoulders after his father had already been slain it was too much for Zephyr to hold back, the voice of Aige(basically the goddess was angered by yet another death of her children and Zephyr was the closest conduit for her power )was too loud in his ears and his soul too wounded to bear the pain. He lashed out with his own magic, raw and unbridled in its force, every monster slain, every towns person in the cemetery and each one that had been eaten, slain or taken to be killed later tore itself free from its host, the ground or the inside of a monster in the case of a few and turned on their former families, killing everyone except the three siblings. This was his first magic, and his first encounter with the Goddess. There was no turning back.
The three children left the village, seeing no reason to stay as there was no one left, and only haunted memories remaining. They made their way, wandering and struggling to make end’s meet. They went their separate ways but still keep in touch, Riella the youngest lives in the Jagged Thorn pass itself in a coven of witches, Calemvir the middle child actually gave up Aige entirely and is a seed bearer for Kahao and spends his time traveling all across the land and Zephyr ended up in Bekton, where he is the towns local gravedigger. He takes time off once or twice a year to go visit his fellows in Tombstone, but has yet to stay there permanently.
~ Extra Details:
Personality: Generally out going despite his past, it is the best way to keep up appearances to the locals. He is highly personable and enjoys other people even though he has trust issues. Has a distinct look in his eye that says there is so much more than meets the eye.
Patron Diety: Aige
Magic: Vosthrala, The Four Powers: Rock
Other Facts: Lives in the grave keeper’s quarters in Bekton’s cemetery.
Loves to write, and read, a skill he luckily managed to pick up from his parents just before their passing.
Has a special affinity for the spirits of the dead, even beyond most Cryptmasters, he tries not to force spirits, just persuade them. This has lead to him having a close personal connection to a few of them. As such he has one that he is particularly close to and has chosen to bind themselves to him both as personal friends and guardian.
His guardian:
Targe the Bloodied:
Spoiler:
Image Is the ghost of an ancient warrior cursed forever for his actions of slaying a high priestess of Aige, the goddess has forced him to protect her faithful ever since. He is mute, and only speaks through actions, never words, except to Zephyr. His punishment will end when the enemies of the goddess’ faithful are destroyed. While souls are not the domain of the goddess, this was a special case as with the last breath of the Cryptmistress he slayed was a curse, a soluxt curse, binding him forever to be bound to a child of Aige, a Cryptmaster. Guiding and protecting them until they were free to worship as they pleased.
Has a large cavern system beneath his home that he has made with his magic, where he stores his more… potent undead creations. They are as follows: A Dracolich that he actually was given from the Cryptmasters personally, the skeleton of a chimera with the head of a lion, back legs of a goat and the tail of a snake and an set of five armored warriors, two with spears, one with a crossbow and two with a sword and shield, he has never had to use any of these and just likes to experiment with them.

~ Character Info ~
• Name: Celeste Hevnel
~ Aliases: Chelly
• Ancestry: Human
• Age: 20
• Gender: Female
• Physical Appearance: 5'4" and 105 lbs., Celeste is very lean and lithe, which suits her often evasive nature. Celeste has sky blue eyes and dark brown, almost black, hair. Her hair comes down to the small of her back, though she often opts to keep it up, whether in a pony tail or bun.
Spoiler:
Image
• Background: Born in Iandyre as the child of two poor workers. When Celeste was nine, both of her parents were killed in a mugging, leaving her on the streets to fend for herself. Heartbroken and alone, Celeste took on petty thievery to survive, a loaf of bread here, an apple there, maybe a cut of meat if she was feeling particularly courageous. Eventually, Celeste found the Hand of the Twins' Order and wasted no time in joining them, finally happy to have a semblance of belonging once again. Her practice at snatching food proved to aid her as a professional thief, now after wealth instead of food. At the age of 16, Celeste set out to rob what was a decently wealthy, elderly man, not really expecting to face much of a challenge. The estate was lightly guarded, if at all, and it was supposedly just the man alone in the residence. In the dead of night, figuring the man would be fast asleep, she broke in and set to work 'cleaning' the house. Moments after this, she was extremely surprised to find the man watching her from a door way. Intending on fleeing, she attempted to flee through the window in which she came and found her self unable to move at any pace faster than a slow crawl. The elder, however, had no such difficulty as he strolled to her. Though Celeste was young and 'innocent', she new enough to be able to identify an Axelera user. Somehow, Celeste managed to convince the man to teach her, on the condition that she share her gains with him. Celeste agreed, knowing she could eventually steal it all back eventually. Since, she has divided her time learning and thieving, though she has not yet had as quite an exciting mark since. Something she is hoping to change.
~ Extra Details: Patron Diety: Aein, Magic Types: Axelera, Combat Skills: Celeste has relatively little in the way of combat skills, instead relying on her ability to avoid it, or, if worst comes to worst, her use of Axelera to give her the advantage. She can, however, wield a knife with some proficiency, but she is far from being a master at it.
~ Character Relationships ~
• NPC Name: Alexander
• NPC Ancestry: Human
• NPC Age: 80
• NPC Gender: Male
• Connection to PC: Teaches Axelera to Celeste
• Extra Details: Cruel, strict, and vengeful, Alexander is a hard taskmaster, and it often shows through his training sessions.

• NPC Name: Ilinia Albaen
• NPC Ancestry: Half-Riftling
• NPC Age: 21
• NPC Gender: Female
• Connection to PC: Celeste's closest friend.
• Extra Details: Ilinia doesn't actually know that Celeste is a thief. Or practices Axelera.

• NPC Name: Neil Albaen
• NPC Ancestry: Human
• NPC Age: 30
• NPC Gender: Male
• Connection to PC: Friend, Fellow thief, and a mentor of sorts to Celeste
• Extra Details: Half-Brother to Ilinia, and also the one who rescued Celeste from the streets.

It was early in the morning and Danuhl stood at the helm of the Storm Seeker II, piloting the ship through a thick haze of clouds obstructing his view of the surrounding areas. Danuhl knew flying in these conditions was not safe, but he could not wait for the sky to clear. He had an appointment to keep and failing to present himself at a gathering such as this was far riskier than flying blind. Danuhl's left hand moved over to over to a lever, keeping his right hand steady on the ship's wheel. For moment he rested his hand on the lever then nervously pushed it forward. "Captain, are you sure we should be flying in these conditions?" One of the crew yelled out, breaking Danuhl's focus. "I mean, shouldn't we try wait th- Whoa!" The crew man stumbled as the ship lurched upward, higher into the sky.

"I know what I'm doing," came Danuhl's reply. "Now get back to your duties, swab."

"I'm inclined to agree with Abel, Capt'n." Another crew man called out. "I don't think we should be flying with weather like this."

"Quit doubting my judgment. We've flown through worse and pulled out with not a scratch." Danuhl could sense the crew's weariness and it was doing nothing to calm his own nerves. All he could do was reassure them, but he almost felt as if his efforts to do so were in vain.

"I'd like to point out that even in 'worse' we could, for the most part, see what was around us." Abel, who had just regained balance, argued.

"Perhaps they are right," said a soothing, mystic voice from behind Danuhl. "These clouds may draw back in an hour's time." Danuhl sighed as he pulled the lever back to its neutral position. A cold hand rested upon his shoulder and the voice assured him, "We can afford one hour for the price of safety." Danuhl despised his current situation. Not only did he have an appointment to keep, but also a mysterious passenger had convinced Danuhl to transport him to the City of Iandrye. The city was his destination from the start, but the sage became the cause many delays just like this one. He would have kicked him off the ship by now if it weren't for his fear of the sage's potential capabilities.

"One hour. And only one." Danuhl reluctantly agreed...

Bekton, Windheel Traveling Circus ~

Gelle and Grigori were standing in front of the circus animal pens. They had seen the circus performers most of the day and Jasmine, their mother, had arranged for the brothers a chance to see the circus animals up close after the show ended. A wide variety of animals were within the pens; ranging from panthers and wolves to an elephant and a miniature pig. "Ah, here is the birthday boy and his brother!" The Ringleader greeted the two with a smile as she walked towards the pens. "A certain mother of yours told me I'd find you here and that you might want to meet a few of our furrier performers. So if you'd like to pet one, just say the word."

Zephyr was outside the circus tent, he had been having some trouble acquiring Gelle's location from any of the performers so he could deliver his gift to the child. His search eventually brought him to an annoying clown. "Wait, what was your question again?" The clown giggled out and honked his red nose. At this rate it might be best for Zephyr to look around on his own while it was still Gelle's birthday.

North of the Balil Mountain ~

Jaslen was sitting at his desk, which was cluttered with documents from the recent deal Perinnol Air made with one of the factories of Ceo Ar Maidin, within the Captain's quarters of his air ship. His crew was currently piloting the ship to his destination, the City of Iandrye. Aside from the crew, other notable passengers aboard the vessel were Sarah Kerrigan and Luminita, both of them would likely be in their own quarters.

City of Iandrye, in front of the Whispering Tower ~

Celeste found herself passing by the Whispering Tower, probably off to fence the stolen goods from her latest mark. As she was passing by, the clock's ticking was practically beating her ear drums. TICK, TOCK, TICK,"S"TOCK, TICK, TOCK... The area surrounding her was fairly open, however there weren't many people around. A couple of kids playing around the clock tower's massive pendulum while their parents watched from a distance, a few guards patrolling, and a shady group of robed men where the only people near. Strange, considering it was still early in the afternoon.

Zephyr

Zephyr sighed visibly and scratched his head, while it would be much easier to send Targe to do it, the guardian was a spirit not a Labrador. He looked at the clown, trying t grasp the whole "happy" part of the circus, happiness wasn't something the grave digger was associated with. "A furry little boy. About this tall." Zephyr said making a gesture with his arms to show the boy's height. The crypt master was irritated, sure, but that was hardly an excuse to be rude. "Tell you what, if you were a kid on your birthday where in the circus would you be?" The Cryptmaster asked the clown.

Gelle looked up at the Ringleader. "You got a lot of animals!" He stated excitedly, a big grin on his face. "Which one's your favourite?" He was having a brilliant birthday so far. His eyes then turned to look at the animals, awed by the vastness of the variety.

Grigori smiled at his brother and knew he was enjoying his birthday. "You have so many excotic animals." He said to the ringleader in an amused tone. "Would it be possible to pet the panthers?" He asked the woman. He loved animals and was not afraid to pet dangerous animals partly due to him feeling more comfortable around animals then humans.

Celeste smiled at the sight of the children, remembering a time when she would have played like that. Eh, no matter. she thought, as she turned her focus to the robed men. She slowly walked by, hoping to perhaps hear a bit of their conversation, whether mundane or not.

Gelle nodded. "Yeah! Panthers are cool!" He said happily to Grigori, before lifting up his arms. "Want a lift!" He grinned, wanting to be on Grigori's shoulders. The view is always better up there. "Lift!" He reiterated his point, his arms still raised.

Gelle & Grigori
The Ringleader held her smile as she led the boys to the panthers. There were four of them, mostly resting from their strenuous preformances though occasionally one would get up and move about before laying back down again. "Be gentle with them, they've had a long day." She said in a hushed tone to the two as she opened the gate leading into the pen. One panther, who was laying closest to the gate, looked up towards them in curiosity.

Zephyr
The clown sighed and scratched his own head. As he pulled his hand away he accidentally pulled his wig off, revealing his bald head. "Whoops!" The clown exclaimed as he hastily put the wig back on. The clown let out a chuckle. "So, you said something about a birthday boy, yay high, furry... Hmmm, yes." The annoying clown stroked his chin, feigning deep thought. After a moment he pointed towards the sky and gasped. "Wait, no. Never mind."
Hidden:
Targe wouldn't happen to be with Zephyr at the moment, would he?
Jaslen
Jaslen was now standing outside of Sarah's quarters. Her door was wide open and Jaslen could see she was busy organizing her papers and files. Unless he intended to scare her, it'd be wise for him to politely announce his presence.

Celeste
Celeste could hear bits and pieces, though as she got closer she picked up a few comments worth noting. "I heard they were there when it happened," one whispered. "Then why didn't they act?" Another one asked. "Their targets most likely expec---" The reply was interrupted when one of the robed men raised a finger to his lips. The robed men all turned their heads and looked towards Celeste as she passed by.

"Thanks." Grigori said to the ringmaster with a smile whilst carrying Gelle on his shoulders. "We'll be careful. They're misunderstood creatures and are beautiful creatures." he told her in a soft tone as he looked at the panther who was observing them in a curious manner before kneeling down on the ground to let Gelle climb off his shoulders out of the belief it was easier for the furry one.

Zephyr released a resigned sigh, why was he surrounded by idiots? He didn't do anything to deser- well apart from reaninating corpses, looting the dead and other naughty things, but what's a little Vosthrala here and there between friends? "Thank you for your... Help." Zephyr said with gritted teeth. Impudent buffoon, though I suppose I wouldn't tell a creepy grave keeper looking for a child where he was either. Zephyr thought marching swiftly away from the clown, and began walking to the right around the outside of the marquis.

Gelle looked up at Grigori after he was put down, frowning in that childish way of his, that frown changed when the panther looked at him, and Gelle set upon it, petting it behind the ears. "Big kitty." He giggled softly, feeling the fur through his fingers.

Celeste continued to walk by, giving no noticeable regard to the men, though a small smirk emerged on her face. She decided to put a bit of distance between them, just to ease their suspicion.
