He then looked a little sad, due to the frown that appeared on his face. He began talking slower, but without the awe, and more grief. “You are the first voyage... the first group of people here. You will be put in the city called Frechi. You got lucky, due to our all-embracing universal lottery system. You no longer have to stay on our poisoned planet, filled with demise and regret. Though, others of your race do, and I would like you to reflect on that sporadically. Because, those people will most likely die very soon, you remember that. For those people, the lucky ones, who get to come here sometime in their short lives, you will be giving them a gift. This gift is the gift of knowledge.”
He shook out of his little unhappy phase, and began talking in a demanding tone. “Each one of you will be keeping a journal, which must be written in right before bed, every night. This journal is to protect others from what this land has to offer. Yes, every single night an entry must be written explaining anything. I mean anything. I am talking creatures, wildlife, vegetation, factions, divinities, history, records, places, relics, astrophysics, warfare, conflicts, dialects, symbols, races, custom, and rules of society. Those are rudimentary ‘need to knows’ of this phase of the human race. We have gathered a very brief description of races. There are very small people, called Run’Tons, who are also immigrants here. They are smarter and weaker than us. There are large pale skinned immigrants here, Snowkin, who are dumber, and stronger than us. There are Trugomarians, the rulers of Trugomar, who are great green blobs in floating balls of metal. They are stronger and smarter than us. There are Deadskins, creations of the Trugomarians. They are weaker and dumber than us.”
He switched over to a voice of pride, and superiority to his listeners. “With that, I will be bestowing you each with four hundred Beckels. This could undoubtedly last you three days on housing, food, water, and other materials. The rest is up to you to gross. You can continually come back to make an application to get additional Beckels from me. But, you better have an astoundingly good reason.” The man gave out a laugh, and asked with a smile, “I know this is a lot, but any questions?”
